Well, I've not got any new Avalon piccies, yet, I've been enjoying FCOM /way/ too much. It is utterly, utterly brilliant =D

So that raised the question.... what would she look like as a human with flesh-tone skin?

Thanks for the comments; although I modeled my first character after myself (my avatar) Basho is by far my favorite of the 2.

Now I just have to come up with a story as to why a Tang Mo from Akavir is in Tamriel...

@ Spike - That is a really good improvement! And it looks like it would fit into the Babs clothes (and armor) Unfrotunately, I'm probably not going to use it! I'm kind of into Exnem's for...err.......scientific purposes! Yes, I'm, studying why the men of Tamriel like large-breated women! Yea, thats it, sounds pheasable, huh?

@ chiglet - Awwww your goin' on vacation! Bummer. Anyway, I'm not to intrested in the thong aprt myself, I'd much rather see one of his concubines (am I using that word in the right context?) in one! But knowing Pip has had a part in it, you can bet it is going to be shiny and probably gold....

@Knux - What body mod are you using? I know where the dress if from! Just wondering...... By the way, I love Avalon!

@ SeV - Ya know, in Cyrodiil there should be a law about hot sexy women running around topless. It distract heros from fighting, and if she is that hot, it distracts both men an women . Oh, and we are now reffering to Exnem's Sorceress outfit as Exnem's Boobie outfit?

At those who were not mentioned (most of everyone ) I have seen your screens and I look forward to seeing more of them!

lemonio - very good screens! You're great at those "funny" screens. (Funny ha-ha, not funny bad.) I esp like the pointing in the last screen. (post 64) -WOW! That's excellent! Sorry, I suck at titles. (post 89) - you just keep getting more artistic! Those are very very cool. I still disapprove of dragon-killing, though.

SeV - Thanks! I was really quite surprised when the ears-in-teeth-slot thing works. And Hector's already offered to merge wig/ears for me when I'm certain which hair I want. I warned him that directly after all his hard work is done, I'll move on to another character. I mean, people must have noticed that none of my screens ever show the main quest. Or my character as archmage, or head of the fighters' guild, or . . . . (post 55) - Avalon's gorgeous! Is that exnem's? Are those shots photo-edited? (post 115) -haven't seen Bleach, but she *does* look similar to that pic. Answer to your question: less gothy, just as hottie.

Daiyoukai Ramza - Plain, but very very nice. That's excellent lighting - is it all in-game?

Soul Slayer - Thank you! Great shots yourself! Is that in-game lighting? If not, may I ask what you did? Opal's gonna be sneaky too, and I'm concerned about getting enough light in the shots, or being able to figure out a good thing to do in editing.

Spike4072 - well, I'll just copy Rumpleteasza & say: nice tits! I'm sure we'll soon have a Spike body, not based on Bui's and very distributeable. I'm liking the direction you're going. My preference would be to have a curvier version of a BAB-type body for elfin characters. Perhaps a bit more weight in the midsection, as well. Exnem's is great - the clothing especially is very well-done - but a bit muscular for a sorceress. And Corwyn's, now really Robert's Corwyn's, last time I checked was heading in a really nice direction but perhaps a bit fluffy for the elves. And can I just take this opportunity to once again bemoan the use of one mesh for all races?!

VanQa - LOVING Gwen's story. That format is still very very effective, and as always you've got a very expressive character! "In the meantime"'s a great cliffhanger/teaser!

Hector - So THAT's where Pip went . . . Yep, folks, Pip got so bored at the spa she decided she wanted to travel & see the world! Of course, all that gold/jewelry/shoeness that igHector had promised her meant she went *there* first! Those textures do look great on her, by the way (the alternate argonian textures for exnems). And I guess she reaches a little farther up than his knee! I'd say most guys would say that height's just about right. Or is that just perspective?

Die 75 - (post 39) - *LOVE* the last shot there, in the foggy ruin, with him looking up & to the side. Very atmospheric. He really has a kind of wise-old-master character, to me at least. (post 88) - Great shot! RUN!! Wait, what - your characters stand & fight? Huh.

Kimory - (post 45) - Very nice shots. Just a suggestion: since you weren't fighting in those, a little bit of torchlight might have given your character a little more detail & provided some nice light effects against that great cloudy grey background. If you have OOO, you already have Droppable Lit Torches, or you can download it separately - then you could have a dropped torch just out of shot by her.

ghostruler - Oooh, impressive. Hector, you might wanna make sure Pip doesn't see that. You know she has a thing for dark elves.

Floydian1 - Stop it! You're distracting all the male (and probably a fair amount of the female) members of this board! Great, now no one will get anything done . . . .

Zombie216 - I really like the sig'd version, all redded. The screens do look just a *hair* too dark on my pc, but I'm struggling with lighting/editing my own self.

Hector, Lemonio, Scoffs-at-You - Whilst I hate to discourage political discussion I agree with , and there is no longer off-topicness here, perhaps that sort of stuff would be better taken to the rec room. It can be such a volatile thing, and plus takes away space for hot girl-on-girl pics. Or tea.

Grimbot - OOOOH! Gawd, it took me for*ever* to get that - but when I did - x1000 !!! Priceless! And doesn't it just figure - no one here got it 'cause they were all distracted by the folder labeled "pornography"!

Treetop Smoker - Great shots! The first of the reposted shots looks at first glance a little like she's skiing, with the pack & how the front sword is . . . no? Just me? Alrighty then.

Xetirox - WOW! How'd you pose that first shot? Thanks on the Opal praise. She's a hairless Tabaxi. Thus the shunning. My gods, can you image how long it'd take to do all that shaving every morning? Unless someone wants to merge a white fur texture with those tats. But really, she's only Tabaxi to get the great facial geometry Luchaire set up, the different eyes, and the expressive animated ears. If NightElf ears were animated, she'd still be using those. BTW, best comments ever. (Well, that was hyperbole. But very informative & thought-out. Much better than mine.)

MystykStar - I'm really liking your retextures! But you maybe aren't releasing? Opal was so looking forward to having all those color variations to wear!

Soul Slayer - Love the flare! Very moody, great lighting.

chiglet - thanks! It's so nice of you to always take time to comment on everyone's screenies. You're part of the wonderful energy that makes this group so great! Good luck on fixing the face coloring, if you're doing it in-game -- I've almost always had to "reset". But then I'm not very skilled at that sort of stuff. Hey- have a great vacation! We'll miss you when you're gone.

SConrad - I think y'all are totally the opposite of inhospitable & unaccommodating. You're extremely hospitable & accommodating. We're just not used to it!

FluCidity - I'm *loving* your tattoo work. Can we get a shot in brighter lighting?

Yep, I was just seeing if I could get Spike to take on another impossible project. I want animated elf ears, glowing tattoos on my character only, and -- uh -- let's see . . . a million dollars!

You're welcome. I love everyone's contributions - not everyone's a writer, and hopefully all here understand that. That's why I think chiglet/Treetop Smoker/et al are so great to post. I repeat again that Xetirox's comments were wonderful. We're a community - each individual contributes in his/her own way! (Can you tell I was raised by a hippie?) Plus, no commenting - get back to work on those great body parts/bodies you make!

Ever try Xanga? It's pretty good for a blogging/story/picture site. Here's my xanga for an example.

Ah, I'd never heard of Xanga before. Don't do any of that blog stuff myself, but one could always post one's stories.... BTW, you've got some cool looking backgrounds up there. What's the one on the Xanga site from? I still haven't figured out how to put the background I want on myspace.

Oh, that's actually from the anime Ergo Proxy. It's freaking sweet. And as far as your Myspace goes, look for a website called "Pimp your myspace" or something. If you upload an image onto photobucket, you can post that as a background.

I can't believe I never noticed that!! Give Avalon a katana and a black & white robe, and she'll look just like Rukia! (Bleach is a freaking awesome anime btw...)
I guess I thought she looked more like Amy Lee from Evanescence than Rukia at first...but the human flesh tone adds to that.

If you click on Layers, then slide down to colors, you can access the brightness/contrast settings.

Not to be a pest . . . . well, okay, to be a pest - I've done that, but it seems my shots always turn out either washed out or still too dark. What settings to do you adjust to, if you don't mind my asking?

The difference is totally in the programs, I just adjusted the same picture in both Photoshop, and Gimp, using the same values for brightness/contrast, and the one in Gimp didn't look as good as the one in Photoshop.
