Well, I've got an embarrassing bug : when I try to move to Bone Hill from reddy Woods, game crashes during area loading time : loading screen turns into a blue screen with any Cd in my comp, or game automatically gets closed, and back to windows etc, if SoA Cd3 is in my comp. Any idea about how to override that bug?

Hm... what about mine? :whistling:
Can you see there what's making my game crash? Do you need any file to check where the problem comes from?
PS : erf, now i see how to join files to posts. Sorry for the long text I've just posted before.

Hi melkor_morgoth75
I don't see Bonehill in my weidu.log too  , but it is installed, the areas are accessible
and the SETUP-BONEHILL.DEBUG seems ok

edit
I just reinstalled SoBH correctly, that solved the CTB which I had in bonehill and in garotten, thank you melkor

edit2
Chainsaw
I am not sure that reinstalling SoBH, is what you must do. I encountered enormous difficulties when trying to reinstall (perhaps because I could not uninstall SoBH with weidu; but perhaps also because of the bifing at the end of the installation)

Yes it does. But moving my team by CLUA to this area doesn't work either : game crashes the same way.

If you can't CLUA to an area, it's not the Worldmap causing the problem. Might want to try clearing the caches and re-loading the game. When exactly does the area crash? Part way thru loading, most of the way, after it's loaded, but before you see anything? Different symptoms can mean different thing, normally none good.

@melkor_morgoth : my Worldmap version is 6.3
@erebusant : game crashes when area loading is about 1/3 completed.
Thanks for your attention by the way

So the problem should be related with some creatures/resources within that area ... i remember an old BGT version had some .cre files missing but i don't remember if the 1.02f version was the one with those issues.

Try to look at the forums (BGT also) and see if this is the case,

I didn't find any subject dealing with problems with 1.02f/BGT version : most crashs seem to occur with Bone Hill + tutu.
Maybe I should update my BGT version?

I have the same problem, in Bonehill (with BGTv1.04 and BPv177) and in the castle (where I CLUAed my party) to go to the last zone (where to find the horn if I remember well). I have done a smooth install with no CD in the drive, no error by my hand, etc. I've kept the WEIDU log but I've deleted all other useless files (installation files) to gain space on my hard drive. The game went very smooth before this problem.

EDIT: Maybe a solution would simply be to change the variables as quest done and to get the horn using CLUA? At least to continue through the game without stopping here Bonehill Quests?

I've just played all that first part of Bonehill and i had absolutely NO issue at all.

When do u say "I've kept the WEIDU log but I've deleted all other useless files (installation files)" ... i have some fear ... what did u delete??? The source of your problem could be that ...

Well, I had deleted the setup-mod_name.exe files, the corresponding tp2 files, and the "mod_name" folders, no folder or file from original BG2-SOA, nothing inside the override or data folders, etc. I just realized that I didn't use the NTOSC biffing utility, I don't know if that changes something??? Thanks for your help, in all cases!

EDIT 1: I uninstalled the original Baldur's Gate (1) game too, but if I remember well you can uninstall it after having installed BGT. I don't why it would use the original BG1 files from their folders, too.

EDIT 2: I have found using DLTC that I got the error message is "Invalid Area width (5-80)" and using Near Infinity that the SKELDED bcs file is present (I verified in the override folder) but the original AR1300 area has the same problem it seems, so that may not help.

Is Tales of the Sword Coast installed? I uses several CRE files from that expansion. It is a required install for SoBH because of this. BH1000 will definitely crash if you don't have that installed. Several areas inside the castle will also crash.

Tired of Bhaal? Try some classics mods instead:

In my case, I installed TotSC. The CRE files are seem all present (using Near Infinity they're all blue, and I've checked the Override folder too), even if I can't check if they're corrupted or not. Inside the castle all went smooth (I CLUA'd my party to BH1001 successfully).
Well, in time I CLUA'd my party to another zone and kept playing regular BG.
