Good to hear this mod is still moving :) I remember back when it was gunning for the "quickest-from-concept-to-reality" award, not counting iron modder entries.

Tis good to hear some good news there, Tempest.
And yeah, slow and steady lest... you know the rest. <_<

I swear I'm going to get fried for quoting so many things in these last 48 hours.

LovelylovelyLOVELY news! I don't dare to hope for a Darian alpha for my birthday (unless you plan to code 24/7 without sleeping, eating or any other breaks for days), but.. soon? *dances*

Ok, now for once I'm disturbed by the prospect of birthday.

I was a newbie to modding, Zyraen-I didn't know enough to know that I was terminally optimistic. :)

Your timeframe was realistic if you get the right help, know the right places for materials, and did not overstretch. :) But the most common problem is simply RL commitments. I know I got hung up over that quite a few times

Yep. I'm a full-time college student, and real life has been eating up lots of time. College work comes ahead of modding, always.

Yay, progress! And yeah, school's a pain - not physics for me, but chemistry and history.

Not meaning to be a pest, but... any progress?

If you should see my writing muse running around, you have my permission to shoot it dead. I specifically set aside several hours this weekend to test Darian's romance with Mazzy, but ended up wasting it in MS Word. I keep intending to spend a few hours working, but always seem to get sidetracked. But this project is definitely on my mind still.

If you finished it soon, I would love you forever. 'Specially if it was before my birthday, March Fourth...

Heh heh. Sorry, been lurking and stalking our little winged-elf here since before I joined. I actually remembered him, which is pretty amazing considering my intellectual capacity/ memory, for a while now. ^_^ But the urge to sign in and comment was just too great, and still is, mind you. I can't really help with coding, and barely ever use the internet. (Just barely got my laptop fixed, you see. -_- Still have to figure how to fix it enough to play Baldur's Gate II again without the confusion. :whistling:) I would try to help, but I think you'd like less work, no? <_<

Shayde: Yes, finish Darian, indeed. Unless you wish to die, slowly. Very slowly. Yes, fear me. I am Bhaalspawn, hear me roar. Grr... (coughs and chokes a few times before deciding on a snarl) Ahem. That is to say, ah... Blast! I forgot my intimidating threat... Carry on. But be warned, I will not be a nice Bhaalspawn like usual if-

Deathsies: And to continue on and ignore that...(coughs and shoves her Bhaalspawn back into the fanfic she is being forcibly subjected to) Please continue on. This sounds like a great mod and I truly look forward to it.

I'll be very fortunate to get it out by June, I'm afraid-college keeps me very busy this semester, much more than prior semesters, and I have other projects vying for my free time. Still, I get work done when I can and when I think about it. :)

Hee hee. As long as it stays in mind, I'll still be happy. (puts on her most cherubic face) But I'll break the news to Shayde... I don't think time passes when I don't play, so it won't be that long. Forever frozen in the space of an abyss of my own making or some such. Good luck though, I will not tell you to ignore your real life. I mean, I do that enough for the entire Baldur's Gate fan community. :whistling: Ahem. Anyway, hope that it gets better. Not just for us fans here, but also for you. Tee hee. Hope you have fun when you can, and at the very least, I hope you do not explode under the pressure and stress and stuff. I think I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. Or because it's relatively late and I've gotten no sleep... (Yawns and nearly falls off her chair) I'ma go sleep now... Maybe.

Preparations for exams take precedence, I'm afraid. Between some very vexing problems getting the lovetalks with Mazzy to work and real-life issues, we aren't close to being there yet. :(

Actually, yes. :) Due in large part to K'aeloree's invaluable technical expertise, Darian's romance with Charname is in fact up and running, albeit buggily-ditto the flirts.

Next on the to-do list is stress out over exam week, then debug the romance a bit, then get the Darian-Mazzy romance working fully, then interjections, then... beta.
