I'm actually writing some new banters that won't make it into the initial alpha release-Darian and Anomen will have a couple chats if Charname is romancing Anomen, Imoen will poke fun at Darian and Mazzy if they're romancing each other, and Darian will have some Underdark-specific banters pertaining to his claustrophobia. I'm actually toying with the idea of trying to give Darian penalties while in the Underdark, or possibly anytime he's underground, to represent that particular phobia, though I have no clue of how I would go about doing such a thing.

Xarana: Correction: woe is you.
So Xarana reads Zits, too?
Darian: I have to worry about *romance conflicts* at some point, for the love of Aerdrie Faeyna.
Darian vs. Kelsey is a match I'd pay money to see, but I'd dread seeing Darian going head to head with Xan... I just wouldn't know who to pick.
Keep burning those pesky gremlins!

I think that would be great! I was actually wondering about that and think you should find some way of do it. Is there a way to have him need to make a save against panic every so often or something like that?
Keep up the good work and have fun with your hunt.

Apparently so. A Zits strip is indeed where I got that line from.
but I'd dread seeing Darian going head to head with Xan... I just wouldn't know who to pick.
That would be kind of funny-both are the type to quietly step out of the way if they notice Charname's attention being on someone else. Hell, I'm not even sure if Xan interrupts Anomen's lovetalks. But as a writer, I would say that if it just came down to each making their appeal to Charname in private, Xan would probably trounce Darian nine times out of ten. Xan has the higher charisma, and is just frankly much more charming, constant talk of doom notwithstanding.
I think that would be great! I was actually wondering about that and think you should find some way of do it. Is there a way to have him need to make a save against panic every so often or something like that?
No need to go that far-Darian's too disciplined to let himself be affected *that* badly, and presumably as a Talon, he's had training in overcoming his claustrophobia enough to be effective indoors or (Aerdrie Faeyna forbid) underground. But I think deep in the Underdark, he would be feeling uneasy and off-balance, and hence I would think a penalty of some sort would be in order. The problem is that I have absolutely no clue if such a thing is possible-I'll check and see if it can be done or not, but it's not important enough to squeeze into his initial alpha testing. Darian actually gets off easy in this respect-in PnP, Avariel *do* have to make saving throws every so often while indoors or underground or panic. But from a practical standpoint, would you really want one of your valuable party members periodically making a saving throw against panic... and failing in the illithid city?
Irregardless, I might set the claustrophobia banters to trigger anytime in the Underdark or anytime he's underground, period. Darian will go underground if he has to, but he really, really doesn't like it.

But I still think some kind of penelty would be good. A slight drop in one of his stats maybe?

If Charname is female, she will finally be able to ask the dreaded question: "Does this outfit make me look fat?"

Either way you have plenty of things going on now to make the wait seem short right?
btw thats a good question Tempest, something we don't see often enough in the mods.
... and I guess there's a reason for that...

Edit: I hope he can fly well.

And Darian can fly quite well-more than well enough to escape a berserk Bhaalspawn, assuming she isn't an archer or spellcaster...
