As BGT-WeiDU is nearing its final versions, I will now have to push for the current incomplete translations to be completed. You can find what needs to be translated still at the release thread: http://www.shsforums...showtopic=24822.

Because of this requirement, I will not be releasing any new version of BGT-WeiDU until I get these translations completed.

Unfortunately I cannot help directly because I don't speak those languages but I have a polish contact that might be so kind to help us. Also, I took the liberty of asking for help with translations at G3, PPG and Black Wyrm's Lair. Let's see if we get some result... ^_^

Hiya there.

I guess the logical way should be asking this to the ppl who originally translated the mod.

Anyway, I'm spanish, so I guess I could give a try translating the readme when I get some time, provided that the ppl who originally translated the mod are not up to translate the readme ;)

Well, they didn't do anything as in they didn't started doing it, or is it just that they didnt just finish with it? I wouldn't like to step on somebody else' work :)
Anyway let me know if they started, I'll download the readme and when I finish fixing spanish translation of Sheena I'll start with this one :)

Asc, i told you we were going to do it in a pm ages ago, just only not for the previously released version. :)

BTW: did you receive the last pm with the update of the BGT texts revised in spanish??

EDIT: Alright. I see you have it for BGT-Weidu, but confirm you have the one for BGTTweaks. :)

Anyway, I guess your "no release till its done" made me go and finish the postinstall ... :whistling:
Also, I'm adding the BGTTweaks readme (done by Saemon) who found this post motivating enough to finish it as well :whistling: :crying:

The big BGT readme is still in the works, however! though i had some 30% done :)

Finally, for the credits i'll appreciate you added Saemon and Memnoch in both BGT-Weidu and BGTTweaks (i'll do so in the translated readme already) :)

I translated about 50% of BGTReadme and left the rest for Evendur (Valfar?...whatever his another nick is). He told me it would take few days...however it was propably more than month ago. I'll try to contact him again...if I fail I'll translate the rest of it by myself.

@Immortality: Yes I do have them all. Sorry if I have been rather silent over PM, as I just take things sent to me and incorporate them without telling anyone. :ph34r: The credits will be updated for sure.

@Promilus: Thanks for taking the time to do it. Just remember that "no release till its done" does mean that, but it doesn't mean that I'll be releasing it "as soon as it is done", so there isn't really a rush associated with translating it. I must have it though.

There are a few other things I need to do before I'm ready to release v1.05 anyway, which includes a rather tedious ITM check.

These are the final translations I will need for BGT-WeiDU v1.05. I need the Italian and Russian translations for these. If able, can you please translate these in a .txt file and attach it here? Please keep the codes above the paragraphs. Also, S1 is a bit tricky, but it sure be self-explanatory.

P1
Occasional missing sounds: There have been a number of reports of sounds that sporadically do not play when they should, mostly confined to soundsets of NPCs. This is a not a Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU problem but a sound configuration and compatibility problem. Try to play around with available sound settings in the Sound Options menu in-game, in the BGConfig utility, in DirectSound properties, Windows sound settings, and/or sound driver software settings - preferably in that order - to see if you can fix the problem.

Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music
Music is installed during Baldur?s Gate Trilogy-WeiDU installation, but is not activated. To activate Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music, switch to your Baldur?s Gate Trilogy installation directory and run Setup-BGTMusic.exe. Select one of the two options when prompted.

The ?Full Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music? component activates all original Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music. If you play Shadows of Amn and/or Throne of Bhaal with this component installed, the music heard will be incorrect. For best results, when you decide that you want to play Shadows of Amn and/or Throne of Bhaal, uninstall this component to restore the default music for Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal.

The ?Hybrid Baldur?s Gate/Shadows of Amn/Throne of Bhaal music? component compromises the inability of having all the Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast, Shadows of Amn, and Throne of Bhaal music together throughout the entire game. Installing this component keeps all music for Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, but activates only some music for Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. Effort has been made to ensure the music is as appropriate as possible for each area.

If you do not install any component, then no Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music will be heard in the corresponding portion of the game. The music heard during Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast will sound inappropriate.

Custom Menu Screens
Custom menu screens are made available after Baldur?s Gate Trilogy-WeiDU installation. Switch to your Baldur?s Gate Trilogy installation directory, and run Setup-GUI.exe. Select the type of menu screen that you would like to use.

1. Extract BGT105-Install.rar to your BGII install directory
2. IMPORTANT! Ensure that no Baldur?s Gate-related CDs/DVDs/virtual images are in any of your CD/DVD/virtual drives. Failure to do this will likely result in errors during installation.
3. Go to the command line, navigate to <BGII install directory>, and execute Setup-BGT.exe using the construction below. Alternatively, place the construction in a batch file or the Run... dialog in the Start menu.
Setup-BGT.exe --force-install 0 --language X --args-list [flags] [path]
Parameters:
X - English (0), International English (1), Castilian/Spanish (2), French (3), German (4), Italian (5), Korean (6), Polish (7), Russian (8)
[flags]
- Suppress display of Post-installation Notes at the end of the installation (a or A)
- Pre-define the full path to the Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast directory; if the path is invalid, setup will prompt for a valid path (p or P)
[path]
- the full path, in quotes, to your Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast installation directory, used in conjunction with the p or P flag
Example:
Setup-BGT.exe ?-force-install 0 --language 0 --args-list ap "C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate"
Installs BGT-WeiDU with the English language, suppresses display of Post-installation Notes at the end of the installation, and pre-defines the Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast directory as C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur?s Gate.
