I've been wanting to play the Edwin romance forever, but I've never been entirely happy with Edwin's portrait, so I've been putting it off until I find one that suits me. It's been almost a year since I decided to try to find one, and I still haven't - so, inspired by Lady Lesatho and Ilmatar, I decided to go off and do my own, based on the two existing Bioware Edwin portraits.

Tell me what you think!

Pirty!

Actually the only thing I don't like is the danglies on his beard. Always found those weird.

On another note is this BG or BG2? If BG2 it doesn't really fit the other backgrounds.

But just two little things. It's still very nice. And silly Eddy. Always liked his jewelry.

Very nice. I like the lighting effects.

Very nice! Sort of a combo between the BG1 and BG2 one, but with focus on the BG1-thingy. I always liked the BG1-thingy better.

I actually like the "danglies" as Kellen put it add a somewhat tough look to him.

Point about the background - I'll see what I can do. :) Currently making a different, amalgamation portrait for a male PC. Will see if I still feel artistic after I've done some more work on this ;)

In the process of trying to make my PC's portrait, I inadvertantly gave Sarevok hair... Thought I would share the sillyness. XD

The other attached portrait is my PC portrait-in-progress. No where near finished, the skin is horrific, the background needs changing and the armor needs changing. I mainly wanted to see what I could do with bits from the Bioware NPCs... see if you can find which parts belong to which NPCs ;P But, yes - very unfinished.

I think I've fallen in love with the portrait on the right.

Which is surprising, because it actually makes me think of Haer'Dalis, of whom I am not particularly fond.

The Chin is Sarevok's.

The eye make-up Edwin's?

Chin is indeed Sarevok's, and the eyes are Edwins. Nobody is going to ever guess the nose, though... ;)

Glad you like it :D I hope it's better once it's finished!

On the composite portrait, I think the lower lip looks like it might be Keldorn.

And the only person who's nose is quite so shiny is... Aerie?

Back from the brink.

Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".

These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

You got the lips right :) Nope, not Aerie, though.

How about Nalia for the nose?

I'm gonna guess Anomen, Imoen, or Mazzy.

And the new Edwin is just spectacular. Hear! Hear!

Nose - BG1: Imoen
Forehead - Valygar
Top Hair - Haer'Dalis
Bottom hair - Yoshimo
Ears - BG1: Skie
Chin: Sarevok
Eyes - BG2 Edwin

I'm so glad *someone* likes it :D

I like it, it makes Edwin look a lot ... younger.

Finished Edwin portrait:

Something I've realized about the Edwin portrait is that it's very hard to change his background and make it look natural due to the hood of his robe... yours is pretty good though.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed, but now that I go back and look, I see it.
