Attributes mod

I really don't like cheating so I generally roll 'fair'. But watching intensively that I don't click
something worthwile away is kinda annoying. It might be just me. But this is the only real
thing about BG which really annoys me.
Think it's an unnecessary idea? Don't hesitate to tell me.

And besides it's always easier to use Shadowkeeper(?) to modify the char for at least for a mod.
Just telling you.

I think he's talking about something that on each reroll will show you how many spendable points you have. Usually what I do is when I see what looks like a good roll, I decrease all attributes to the minimum allowed (which is different from class to class), and see how many points I end up with available to spend. If it's a higher number than I've seen before, I store the roll. Then I continue with more rerolls until I'm satisfied with the number of points I can spend (or just get tired of rerolling).Well, as I have seen it, you could just gather intelligence as you might, I have seen the top sum to be somewhere 75-80, a fighter can have 18/00(Str)+18(Dex)+18(Con)+3(Int)+15(Wis)+3(Cha), so that's 75.

From what I gather, Lucas suggests skipping the point where you manually decrease all attributes, so that you can see how many available points each roll has without doing anything. While I think it's an awesome idea, and I'd love to see it myself, it's unfortunately hard-coded and impossible to do something about. Sorry.
As for Shadowkeeper - yeah, but some people prefer not to do that.

And also a total number, since it is always good to know right away whether I already have my 90 points or not - I'd say for me it is even more important than the number of points I can spare. Sure, counting takes seconds, but it could be so much more convenient...
So, yes, I dare say there is interest.

The point is, re-rolling could be much faster if there was only one number. It is pretty obvious which roll is which, of course, but still. Ah, there's no point anyway. Just wishful thinking.

Well I was, but can't anyone, make a mod that automatically commands the reduction process. I do not know the commands or the names of the variables in the char creation screen, but the basic idea could be this.Who's talking about warriors?

When re-roll is pushed,
Start
17 times reducing the Str
...
...
16 times reducing the Cha variable, and
End
It might take time like a one hundred of a second, unless there is some kind of a speed adjustment in the stat screen, but then again even if there is, you won't have to do the proses yourself.

Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."

You could have saved yourself the trouble of thinking by reading my first post in the topic - where I already said it was impossible. Thanks for making it even clearer, pro5. And yeah, scripting would work - but it'd be a terrible workaround.I do not know the commands or the names of the variables in the char creation screen, but the basic idea could be this.

Unfortunately I can't read whatever language that is.I think that on Sigil (see my signature) drake127 tried to do something like this but I'm not sure how it works, I've never tried it
"She was a fire, and I had no doubt that she had already done her share of burning." - Lord Firael Algathrin
"Most assume that all the followers of Lathander are great morning people. They're very wrong." - Tanek of Cloakwood

Hee, another reason why poke drake - at least he will have to do it in English, too
