Version .40 starts Chapter 3, The Slavers Series...fresh content for CA!
A1 - Slave Pits of the Undercity. Parts of A2 - Secret of the Slavers Stockade are included but not ready for adventuring yet...expect a patch for these areas in the near future. Please report all bugs in this thread.

Some updates:

Calcryx (small white dragon) now has a dialog option for you if you don't plan on taking him back to the kobolds.
Meepo and friends will now attack you if you attack any of them. (this didn't always happen).
Killing Yusdrayl (kobold leader) now triggers everyone to attack you (including Meepo).
Looked containers in Saltmarsh are easier to open if you don't have a thief with enough skills at this. However, many now have a script to summon guards if someone in the room sees you, so don't think I made it easier for you.
Speaking of which, the summoned guards are now just one, and therefore he won't attack the other guard. Killing him does effect your reputation just like a Flaming Fist guard (-4).
Haunted House has the exit map point fixed (this wasn't seen when you looked on the map). The upstairs is still hard to see but the map does tell you where to go and always has. (I don't always use maps myself so I know this is easy to forget to use).

I have a dialogue loopin when I am in Myth Drannor.By the statue in front of the School of Wizardry Ilhara starts with her dialogue "You notice Ilhara is looking off in the distant at the ruined districts below" and she returns it the whole time untill I finally can manage to enter the School.
When I'm finished in School and leave the dialogue starts again and again until I'm finally behind the statue.I must pause after each dialogue from her and let her go one step and she talks again so I have this dialogue nearly 20 times before I'm out of this area.
I really love to have her in my party cause the idea of having two people (Rhin,Ilhara) from the past in my party is great and so I tried it yesterday the whole evening with different party members but it's always the same.
Later I kicked her out of the party after her summoning and told her to wait in the Outlook in but when I return no sign of her.
And in Myth Drannor I have a lot of nice conversation with Rivian but when we're back in Selgaunt I can't talk to her she only says I have nothing to say to you.I checked the variables via SK and RivianRomanceactive is 1 so the romance is not broken but why can't I talk to her anymore?

For Rivian, can you check her variable count TCRivFriendshipCount? Some of her 2nd level dialogs need at least a 10 count to appear. Is your PC player 1? Rivian will say she has nothing to say to you, if your PC isn't player1.

Thanks Celestine,my friendship count is 13.I don't know why but I had Althon as player 1 and now that I changed it to normal I can talk to Rivian normally.Maybe the whole reloading for the Ilhara problem has put him to no 1.
Very nice banters with her thank you for your work.

Nice mod.

few bugs i encountered

1. On the smuggler ship i only deck and the level below it . Guard captain bitched to me about how i didnt gather enough evidence and stuff , but when i got the lizardmen chief my char acted as if i had seen lizardmen in the ship and did everythin there. When i reported back to the captain it played out like i had just done the smuggler ship quest perfectly instead of investigating the swamps.

2. Some banters happen multiple times, Erky - Shadow and.. uh forgot the other one.

3. Althon and Vild discuss about Rivian eventhough she isn't in the party and i've never seen her.

4. Blodgett doesn't join after being summoned. Falas'tra doesn't get summoned eventough animation is displayed.

5. Althons amulet doesn't protect him from timestop eventough it says so in description.

6. Blight didn't fight back when I attacked it .

7. Generally interjections are too dependent on character proximity. (for example Rivian rarely says her piece when talking to blight)

Most if not all problems seem to be in dialogue and variable handling and that kind of stuff.

Few other things that aren't bugs but , could use some polish anyway.

1. Map exits entrances . Are very ... unclearly marked i wish all these were at least marked on the map. I've got stuck in almost every place cause well, things aren't marked clearly :/

2. Voices. Rilithar's and Rihn's voices are waaayyy too loud compared to rest and i can't hear thing Rivian is saying .

Very nice mod, definetly best TC i've seen for bg2.

If I understand the storyline right the slaver fortress isn't ready yet and that means I am ready with version 40.
There is only one thing besides Ilharas dialogue loop that seems to me not right.I checked the d-Files from Azimer and theres is a dialogue where he gives Ilhara her Scimitar back.But the only one in my party who can talk to Azimer is Althon.If anyone else talks to him he said "My students, why are you not studying your spells?" and "Such disrespect for your superiors! Students must really learn to use proper titles. I am High Wizard Azimer." After that when I try to talk to him there is only Azimer has nothing to say,so there's no way to get the Scimitar.So I can do the Lashan quest only if Althon talks first with Azimer.
My party at this time :Me,Althon,Shadow,Rivian,Rhin,Ilhara.

Federico, try setting the global value in ShadowKeeper or using CLUA Console to get pass this part. I looked at the d files but can't seem to find anything wrong. I think Sir Billybob will have a better idea how to fix this.

SetGlobal("TCMDAzimerToldUs","GLOBAL",1) SetGlobal("TCMDLichTalk1","GLOBAL",3)

You should be able to tell Pel'ja you're done and she'll teleport you back to the Vault of Ages.

Thank you Celestine for your great efforts but I could use the autosave,reloaded and let Althon talk to him so the quest is done.But I wonder about the sword of Ilhara and why she can't talk to him?But as you said we have to wait for Sir Billy Bob to find an answer.

I'll have to look into it. The dialog with Azimer is a bit complicated since about 4 NPCs can talk to him. Technically the first one in each branch should always be selected but I have seen the game skip to another NPC before. Therefore I need to follow all of them to see why the dialog breaks.

As for the bugs listed above, Blodgett is already fixed for .41 but he is the only fix out of that group so far. I will see about the rest.

Some areas are hard to exit from. I find this more so with the IWD areas. I guess that game triggers on departure points differently than SoA, I have had to tweak some area graphics to get the exit points to work correctly in SoA (but of course they work fine in IWD).

Blight, like most dialogs are based on him detecting someone to talk to them. If Rivian is too "far" away, her dialogs are skipped. I do this to keep the other dialog problem (people across maps talking to each other) from happening. In this case though, I think the cavern is small enough to allow any dialog talks anywhere in the cavern. So I will see about fixing her checks to allow Riv to talk no matter how far or close she is to the dragon. Though really, if she is up at the exit, how would she ever see the elf corpses around him? This is the dilemma of writing dialogs in SoA.

There currently isn't any conditions for the lizard king to know if you did or didn't kill his men. I will have to see about adding some here. Good catch.

Erky has 2 banters with Shadow, both seem to have the correct settings to keep from repeating. Perhaps you thought the second was a repeat?

5. Althon's amulet doesn't protect him from timestop even tough it says so in description.

Fixed for 0.41.

6. Blight didn't fight back when I attacked it .

Interesting since I remember getting my ass kicked several times. I guess I adjusted something and it now breaks his attack. Okay...

Some locations would be helpful here. I don't know which areas you have a hard time with. I have found that some map points are getting shifted off the map and I am having to reset their coordinates. So if you find some, let me know.

Rihn comes right from NeverWinter's sounset and I thought I had adjusted her audio before. I guess I never included it into .40. Same really for Ril. Rivian is hopefully being re-recorded for a louder voice.

This is probably a stupid question but how do I start playing this?

I have SoA/ToB with no mods, and CA installed without any problems.

When I start a new game, I am in the same starting point with Irenicus talking smack and roasting me.

Operator error?

I should add that this is the first 'add on' I have ever used for BG, if it makes me seem less unintelligent. :P

Did you also install the patch for ToB? That shouldn't matter but it may. Also, I assume you started with a new character, and didn't used one you created prior to installing CA? By default, if you create a new character, the mod will place you in Oakhurst as a level 1 PC. You would not be in Jon's dungeon at all.

I started the game normally and created a new character, so I guess I need to install the patch which I am downloading right now.

ADD: I did everything listed in the FAQ, including editing the registry to completely uninstall BGII, then reinstalled, added the patch, then extracted the CA file and ran it, started a new game, made a new chatacter (I am running out of creative names!), yet I still start out in Irenicus wonderful home.

To SirBillyBob- there was a message during installation to send you a file which I did moments ago.

Any assistance will be much appreciated, I really would like to see this TC.

A stupid suggestion, but I have to make it, did you Brandon run the Setup-Classics.exe(that's inside the .rar or .zip) that starts a Weidu-DOS -command that installs the Classic Adventure? And if you did, you might want to send the Weidu Log, though it might not help.

You can send that log file to me (sirbillybob@gmail.com). I suspect it will be a very simple error such as extracting into the wrong folder (must go into \BGII - SoA or whereever the SoA game is). Also if you didn't extract the whole RAR file (it should take some time to extract 400MB of data!). The install process should have taken some time and when it is finished, notepad should open with the Readme file. If this didn't happen, you missed a step.

Hello I played Ca for the second time and now I get Azimer to talk to Rhin,Ilhara and Althon but he did not summon Iharas sword.He said "Let me retrieve your blade" and he starts to use magic but the sword was not summond.I looked in SK and found the sword,so it's in the game but it was not summond.
Ilharas dialogue loop is still there so I don't think it was an installation fault.
And I have a new dialogue loop with Rivian.As soon as I arrived in Westgate she starts "I don't have anything to say to you" and she did not stop until I leave the map.
First I take her with me from Myth Drannor I had this loop and then I loaded an old save free her in the slavers temple but when I return to Westgate I had the same loop.
When I free her in the slavers temple she has her sword Enelya in her inventory but when I killed this slaver guy in the last level of the temple there is a second Enelya in a weapons rack I don't know if this is right.
I hope this is useful for you.
And at last one question.I entered the slavers fortress but there was not much to do.Only 2 slaver mages and 2 slaver fighter to kill.I think this will be some future content?
