Does it actually let you finish posting a new topic or return an error message after you click submit? (I'm not going to try :P )

I'm not going to try either :P

On other forums-that-contain-other-forums, there is no "No topics were found." nor New Topic button. So I suppose it works. IIRC, this forum was a real forum in the past, this may explain why the forum is still open.

Forums look amazing, awesome work to all those involved.

Moved from side to side.

If things aren't working correctly, clear your cache - I'm certain this will fix the errors such as not being able to add friends (because I had that problem too - clearing the cache fixes it :)).

Re Dili's Playground - bug, fixed now. Thanks! I'll take a look and see which other forums should have posting disallowed, and make sure they do.

Thanks for all the encouragement - it was a looong, hard day, but we got there eventually. ;)

Yovaneth: GMT +9.5 ;P So it was around 11 when it ended. But I'd had 4 hours of sleep the previous night, so... :P

I'm using Opera and after clearing my cache, cookies and the mess from under my bed the friends/gender/other features are not working.
Whilst I think (think) I can live without, I assume you would want to know.

Odd - I'll look into it for you. In the meantime, if you can, I would suggest using IE or FF, if you would like to use those features. :)

I love the new arrangement for the forum.

Right now, the forum is not remembering me--I'm having to log in each time. Not the worst of fates, but perhaps fixable?

Try clearing your cookies, and relogging in, making sure to tick 'log in automatically' - that might fix the problem.

Glad you like the new layout! :D

Is there a setting or something so I can get the old reply window back?

Depends on what you mean with "old editor" - there's a 'standard' editor and one RTE, where the latter make changes directly in the text instead of adding bbcode. If you want to switch these, you go to My Controls->Board Settings. There you can choose "Type of text editor to use when posting".

If you mean something else, then sorry. :(

I just want to make sure that our content on our profile page won't include our private workroom threads for everyone to view

The only information that will appear to a user is limited only to what the user have access to. Topics and posts from mod workrooms, staff rooms and whatnot won't show at all for the uninvited.

is the Classic Skin gone? The two remaining themes are good but too busy to be using at work. (Maybe it's the big demon head)

I'm afraid it is. Migrating one skin takes a lot of time and effort. The two current skins took several days of hard work each for two persons, and as you can see - all of the issues aren't rsolved yet. In the end, we decided not to go over that procedure for the 19 people who were using the classic skin. I'm sorry. -_-

Seb: 6.45 am? Serves ye right for being on the wrong side of the Atlantic! Mind you, what times was Liam running on?

Well, he's boss-man so he got to decide where and when. Go figure who got the comfortable hours. :P

Forums look amazing, awesome work to all those involved.

Thanks Tom!

I'm using Opera and after clearing my cache, cookies and the mess from under my bed the friends/gender/other features are not working.

Both of us (me and khayman) who worked on the new skin(s), where these issues lie, use Opera as standard browser. Normally, we make changes and then look at it in Opera first before checking Firefox and IE6 and IE7. None of us have had any problems with Opera 9.

I am unable to update my profile without providing a birthday, which seems regrettable.

Seeing how you're really much younger than you appear, I can't for my life see how that won't work in you advantage. :)

On the Classic skin, it shouldn't be too difficult to disable images on that page. Opera also has a "use own fonts and colors" type setting that might be applicable for convenience.

Another concern: in the Slayer skin, there seems to be some text (something next to the check box in the search popup, for instance, and some of the ranks) which display in black, rendering them illegible on the black background. Didn't those formerly display in white?

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard

Fixed the top-right search box. As for the others, I will need more specific details on where I can find the problematic pieces.

Sorry; the Magical Deviant and Director labels. They're unreadable unless the link is highlighted.

Don't know if this was reported yet: Region of Terror mod is neither a Partial or Total Conversion of BG2. It's just one big mutha of a mod.

Then you'll be moving Secret of Bone Hill, TDD, Check the Bodies, and Northern Tales over there too, yes?

Although its history isn't linked to BP, RoT probably should reside in [Big Picture - Baldur's Gate Trilogy]. 'Check the Bodies' has as much to do with BP as RoT, yet both have gotten mixed together in BP support.

You're not going to take my word, so please talk to seanas, KD, Asc64 and others.
