Once we do know there's a problem, however, there's really not any point to continue to whine about the subject. A "it doesn't work for me, too, and I'm using <browser>" from different users is helpful - because it gives a more comprehensive overview of the issue, and informs us that it's not isolated to one user/browser/whatever. Posting again just telling how annoying it is and how many times you've tried isn't helpful - it doesn't give us any kind of information we didn't know before and it doesn't give us any further assistance in locating the issue.
Again, is there any change now compared to before?
Sorry, didn't mean to echo that previously.
I have been trying to login for the previous 5 times now. It lets me login fine, but the session seems to die each time I click on a new page and I had to re-login again. I've cleared my cache and the problem persists.

Sorry, I think my login works now. I cleared the cache but forgot to clear my cookies. Clearing the cookies on my browser worked for me.

You don't have to throw rocks at us because you can't stay logged in; the board is only trying to protect all of you from someone other than you using your accounts.
Would throwing my calculus book instead be an improvement?(Hint: No.) ;/
Seriously though. Is there any way for individual users to control the security of their accounts? I can state conclusively that there is absolutely no chance anyone but me will find themselves using my account on either my laptop or home desktop, and the odds that it will occur on the CAD machine at work are infinitesimal. Other people might have more to worry about. If this feature isn't available, I'm guessing adding it would be fairly gruelling, so I won't push for it, but it would be convenient and logical.A few settings has been switched to a "lower security", which hopefully will allow you to stay logged in. Please let us know if this helps or not.
I haven't noticed myself being logged while using the same machine, but whatever's been changed doesn't seem to have fixed the issue with finding myself automatically logged off from every other machine whenever I log in on one. I assume the board software is tying the login to a specific IP, which is a new feature; how easy would it be to toggle that?
Also, if there's any way to get it to highlight mismatched opening and closing tags in a preview rather than just bringing up a vague error message, I'm sure that would be appreciated. Took me a couple of minutes to find the typo in the above. x.x A clear "resubmit" button on the error message screen associated with mismatched BB tags, at the very least, would be helpful; if there's supposed to be one it's not displaying properly.
PS: Just noticed the "Carbon Copy" feature in the PM screen. I've been wishing for a while for a way (that I knew of) to address a PM to multiple recipients, so this was very welcome.
It is working fine for me with a static IP, but I was never having the log in problem.

Just to say that I am using Firefox 2.0.0.2 and I have no problem staying logged in (I just have to log once after the upgrade). I have used two differents computers (with differents IPs) without any harm.
I have seen similar problems (cannot stay logged in) on other forums, the universal solution was to clear the cookies.

I use the newest version of FF as well and I had to clear my cache and cookies only once and have never had a problem.

I reckon it would have been nicer, but there is no accountance for taste (if I know my english expression correctly. To make things clear, as I don't want to screw up, I mean no offense. Finally! Clearing (username)@forums.spellholdstudios[2].txt at C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Cookies have done the job for my IE. Seemingly. My God, three hoisting cranes...

I think I tried Clearing my cache before I tried anything, but I don't believe I ever had any problems. And I'm running FF also. Latest version, 2 somethin.

Something I've been wondering about - where do quest mods belong in new forum classifications? I see Region of Terror in TCs - although it really isn't, and Secret of Bonehill in "BP-BGT" - although it has little to do with BP and should in theory work with Tutu as well.

Several members who are Magical Deviants or Admins are listed under top 10 posts/day but have 0.00 listed as a number ?!
