Incidently, I'd say Obsidian is too new to really say anything about them. KotOR II was a good roleplaying experience, Neverwinter Nights II was a mediocre if not horrible one, but really, that isn't enough of a basis to judge a company on.

Her locks were as yellow as gold
Her skin was white as leprosy.
The Nightmare Life-in-Death was she,
Who thicks man's blood with cold.

Why is Bioware the better company? I mean, is it because they're bigger or..?

True, but Bioware has more money and people...plus I think Kotor I was simply better than II, simple facts that will make Bioware the better company to make Kotor III. But they probley won't, they got their hands full with 4, 5 games right now...plus future projects, and an RPG like Kotor takes A LOT of people to make...Obsidian will likely get the nod to finish what they started in Kotor II, or Lucas may get tired of waiting and look for another company to make it...unlikely but possible as Obsidian is also busy at the moment...

Here's an interesting question- If not Bioware or Obsidian who do you guys think Lucasarts should hire to make Kotor III?

I really think Bioware should, mainly because they did a really good job with Kotor. Although Obsidian did a good job consedering they were rushed!
However, Bioware still stands as my vote, they had more sucess, therefore, will probably get more purchases!

However, I honestly just want to play Kotor 3, I'm not as worried about who is making it!

Well, it's quite certain that KotOR III will be released due to the popularity of the series, G.Lucas hardly wastes opportunities to make some more cash.Hey guys. I'm really here for Oblivion, but I'm a huge Kotor fan! Anything Star Wars!

But I believe (maybe) after the next Lucas project is done 'The Force Unleashed' which is due out this fall they may start talks again and maybe begin there belated work on the next Kotor

Probably take their time (as Oblivion took 4 years to make) but the end result would be visually stunning to the Star Wars fanbase.
Just a thought, what do you think of Bethesda?

I have no problem with the graphics in Oblivion, but the story/dialogue definitely doesn't live up to the Bioware/Obsidian standard. For that reason, I'd be inclined to say "preferably not."After playing through Oblivion I'm wondering what Bethesda would do if they got the project...

No to Bethesda, all the npcs will be generic and boring.

Don't even get me started on that. (Fanatical Fallout fan here.)Aren't they doing Fallout 3? That looks really, cringe worthy, bad.

Another reason why I gave them the big no for K3.
