If alignments of either were my decision, I would probably move Neeshka to Chaotic Neutral (let's see, doesn't care about the law (au contraire), individualistic... yup), and Fade Chaotic Good, certainly near the end (too compassionate for a Chaotic Neutral).

I was actually a bit miffed with NWN2 - I wrote a Fade / Korgan insult banter last June... and then witnessed the Neeshka / dwarf- fella (what was his name? I can't remember) insult scene when I first played through NWN2. NOT amused. (Although my insults were different...)
Ernie - in ToB, Fade is definitely more CG than CN overall in the romance (not so much in the friendship), but I'm not going to start fiddling around with alignment changes... they're a bit naff. Although, saying that, I never was a fan of alignments - much prefer the flaw and advantage system games like Shadowrun employed.

Just curious is Neeshka romanceable in NWN2? I do not have it yet? Sorry if my ? is not about topic
Hi
No she is not romanceable, afaik there was only one romanceoption for male pc ad we should be lucky that we got one at all considering the opinion the devs have postet about romance in crpgs.

He hee... yeah, I know. It was also a name in the original NWN name generator... which is where I first saw it! Originally, Fade's nick was Whisper, but it didn't really fit in with the character too well... then there I was one day I was bored, so I played with the character generator for hours, clicking through umpteen names... et voila - the name Fade came up. I stuck with it ever since (before I even considered modding her). The dwarf's named Khelgar. Oh, and Mistress E, one of the names you can come up with for a female elf character with the random name generator is "Fade". Hmmm...
Have to say - was quite disappointed with the romances in NWN2. I really thought we'd been listened to regarding NPC content and romances... not to be, sadly. Dammit! I want my smexy drow fighter!! Nevermind. Have to make do with Valen (HotU) instead...

So *that's* where The Name ( ) came from Good to know, good to know. And yes, romances in NWN 2 are practically non-existent. Yet another disadvantage of that game...
Now, on to important things: *prod*
That was a friendly prodding because I'm sure Fade's already finished but you simply like to keep the fans waiting, Miss E.

I played with Fade and I liked her a lot, but I always thought Neeshka was supposed to be a copy of Annah. And a bad one. Such an arrogant, pitchy brat. And why couldn't *I* have a tail when I played a NWN2 tiefling thief?

She seems to have Annah's impulsiveness, but just a little of Grace's 'class', if that's the right word for it. She's not quite as coarse as Annah, in any case. That's part of why I enjoy having her in my party, her personality reminds me of playing Ps:T, while having her own distinct identity.
If only her ToB content were finished Fade would be in every BGII playthrough I ever do.

Heh. They're both tiefling rogues, and thieves at that, but I think the comparison ends there. Sure, Neeshka has some mild struggle with her demonic side at the end of the game, but she lacks Fade's sense of compassion, not to mention her character depth. Also there's the whole Fey'ri thing (although I'm not sure how regular tieflings and elven ones are related) Fade has going on.
If alignments of either were my decision, I would probably move Neeshka to Chaotic Neutral (let's see, doesn't care about the law (au contraire), individualistic... yup), and Fade Chaotic Good, certainly near the end (too compassionate for a Chaotic Neutral).
Gotta disagree with that change, Fade is compassionate and nice, more or less depending on which path is being pursued, but she values her personal freedom above all else (well except the PC if there is a rommance afoot ).
CN as far as I can recall is often associated with lunatics and madmen, but it is also home to many a free spirit that couldn't care less about how other percieve them as, and the 3rd edition apparantly says something about that too, adventurers; like the sort Fade was hoping to eventually become rather than journing to kill someone or do something for someone else too lazy to do it themselves and whatnot. Just for the sake of travel, I guess.
That said, CG would suit Fade well I think, but not as well worn as CN because with that alignment she has more freedom in her personality rather than someone who always tries to the best righteous thing regardless of law and order, and sometimes their own morals can end up being just as destructive, Chaotic Neutral balances the good and evils of chaos, often with good acts to support the balance, just not the morally correct ones at all times. Man I need to work on cutting down these sentences.
