Stuck at the Final Battle of TOB

I'm currently at the end of TOB and I convinced Balthazar that he should help me kill Melissan. When I try to enter the Throne of Bhaal, Mellisan just stands there and doesn't initiate the dialog. When I talk to here, she says a few lines that you can see in the screenshot.

After the talk, she just stands there and nothing happens.
I currently have TDD,SOS and CTB installed with a few NPC's like Fade, Amber and Saerileth.

i am not sure but you should install the BP_v17(7;8) before the worldmap component. but if you went through the end without probs .... who knows

I tried removing Saerileth, because it was the final component and the mod also edited the AR6200 file, but that didn't fix the problem. As far as I know, the next line should be something about Irenicus, but somehow it just doesn't trigger. I also tried adding a few Continue(), but that didn't work either.

The final battle is totally screwed up. I had the same problem as Pain Elemental, solved it by summoning Balthazar via console. Then talked to Amelyssan, she summoned Irenicus and Bodhi and disappeared. Killed them -> nothing happened. CLUAed Amelissan, she was silent. I looked at her dialog and started incrementing "finalfight". At some point she finally summoned the Five and disappeared. Killed them all, nothing happened again. CLUAed Amelissan, incremented "finalfight", she summoned more minions and attacked. Killed them all, but she healed again and again. Tried to jump to power channels (they were not enabled) and use them, it didn't help. Finally I just CLUAed the solar and talked to her. Then were movies and supposedly epilogues. But after Balthazar's epilogue (the first) I see just neverending cutscene, others don't appear.

It seems nobody finished ToB with this version of BP, yet.

Well I dreaded reaching the final battle from all the still unsolved problems posted, but I'm there now and I'm stuck too!
I have Irenicus with me, so I couldn't get Balthazar to join me (no friendly dialogue option).
Now, I met Melissan, after some dialogue with me and Irenicus, she summoned Bodhi and Demogorgon also showed up. I refused to give him Irenicus and "defeated" his riddles. Then Imoen transformed in the Slayer, but I managed to keep her alive while fighting Bodhi and 2 Fallen Planetars.
Now, all the enmies are dead, Imoen came back to normal and...what! Nothing is happening.... :blink:
Nothing from Melissan and no word from Irenicus (when is he supposed to get redeemed? I saved his butt gain!)

Any help would be very appreciated.

It seems like lots of people have insolved problems at this very last stage of the game...after going through BGT+BP and all the major mods and getting stuck here! Arghh! :(


***Update 1***
To Pain E. maybe the following will help. After the battle with Bodhi and the 2 fallen planetars, nothing hapens. So I CLUAed Amelissan (FINMEL01.cre), set the the following: Set Global("Final Fight","AR6200",6) and go talk to Amelissan. She will summon the 5 for you to battle....next update to follow soon.

***Update 2***
After you kill the 5 (wew!) nothing happens again...so type Set Global("Final Fight","AR6200",8), CLUA Amelissan again and talk to her: now it is time for the big fight.....And a new problem: AMELISSAN IS UNKILLABLE. Each time i take her XP to near death, she goes to the power node and heals again and again and again. I gave up after her 4th XP reload as I run out of breaching spells...I'm stuck!

Anyone help? Please? :crying:

It seems that none has finished ToB with BP installed ... and so there are LOT of problems rising ... dunnow if there is someone who has found and then solved them :blink: :blink:

Thanks younes, but I got tired of retrying the final battle, so I deleted the Ascension part of BP. Still, I would love to see a solution for this problem though.

To Seanas and Horred The Plague.
Is there are ongoing effort to fix the Longuer Road/ Acension part of BP? It seems like it is presently a big issue since no one has reported a successfull or relatively bug-free ending of ToB.
My experience of BGT+BP was VERY good, and my install was surprizingly stable. :Bow:
And after ~7 months of continuous play (~300hours), I would really love to see the ending of the saga.
My coding skill and mastery of NI are average but I'd love to help if there is anything I can do.

is it possible that after one year and a few months after this bug appeared, that someone has found the sollution? i've came all the way from BG1, BG2, ToS, TDD, SoS etc, so i really would like to end my longest adventure not without the final fight :)

i am stuck as others - after battle wuth irenicus, imoen and bodhi nothing happen :)

The solution is not to install the BP version of Ascension as it is known to be bug-infested. Use the normal WeiDU version of Ascension.

If you want Ascension with upgraded AI you should use Ascension together with SCSII.

Care to enlighten us as to this "it's not that hard" that you mention. Where are your hotfixes? Please share because maybe we do not have your infinite wisdom and not many people install the BP Ascension part, myself included.

When I become the Big Picture spokesperson then I may dabble with fixing it. For all of you having troubles:

1) Be a detective and look at scripts (BCS) and also dialogs (DLG) and the actions and response triggers. Don't be afraid if you don't know what it means. I was when I looked at them first.

2) Copy and paste into a post and then others may help that just know the commands and see where something gets stuck. I have had better success learning about fixing my own games from others that share generously their knowledge of scripting.

You will have better success at solving the problem that way, in my opinion anyway.
