Hey guys. Alright, so I went through the Sir Sarles Quest and am having a problem. First, what I did:
So, I start the quest, go to Sarles, then to the Ore Merchant, get her contact information, but then tell her I want the fake stuff.
Then, I go to her contact, start that mission, kill Neb, and get the real ore.
After 24 hours, I return to the ore merchant, buy the fake stuff and return to the noble house with Sarles in it.
I drop the real ore beside my group and give Sarles the fake ore. He gets mad and walks out.
Then, I gather up the real ore and return to the temple district to talk to Guardian Telwyn.
Here is where everything goes weird, cause I keep getting the red message that Guardian Telwyn doesn't have anything to say to me. What happened?
Dan Simpson's FAQ guide says that you can have Sarles walk out and still get something from Telwyn.
Also, I have some mods, so did they perhaps change the conditions for this or what?
How can I fix it?

Also, I have the adjustment that I can have multiple romances, but Jaheria is not talking to me since there was the argument with Viconia. How do I start that romance up again? (Detailed steps are appreciated)

Thanks for the information, but both of the coding for the Sarles didn't help at all. He still has nothing to say to me. I'm not really sure what to do about it, I have tried loading old saves and doing the mission a little bit different each time. Any other ideas.
Also, thanks for the Jaheira fix. Hopefully that one will work. (I tested my debug with the experience amount adjuster, it works fine.)

edit - Well, I have tried the romance code also, but Jaheira isn't saying anything, which leads me to believe that I don't know how to properly input those codes that you gave me. So, where do I put those at and how? I thought that it was the Debug Mode=1 and then Ctrl+Spacebar-enter-command section. If it isn't, then please teach me.

Wow! I'm having exactly the same problem with Telwyn. He won't talk to me. Ironically, he will talk to my NPCs... and says that he will speak only to my main character.

I'm running an install of BG2 with just G3 fixpack & tweaks installed.

The first run-through, I got the illithium from Neb while the ore merchant was making the alloy. No dice.

I replayed it so that I got the alloy first, then asked the merchant for her contact's name (so he would talk to me and start the Neb story). I gave Sarles the alloy beforehand, and went to Telwyn. Nothing.

I even tried just buying the alloy, going to Sarles and then to Telwyn. That didn't work either.

I also tried manually setting the globals as Gort suggested. Didn't help.
