The current installation order for the weidu version of what was BP-BGT is as follows:

0. Full BGII SOA+TOB+26498 patch (and BG1+ToTSC+5512 patch or BG Original Saga if installing BGT)
1. BG2 fixpack v1
...
4. Baldur's Gate Trilogy v1.02 (read the instructions in readme file before installing) and NeJ2-BGT compat patch if using both NEJ2 and BGT
5. Dark Side of the Sword Coast v1.85
6. Northern Tales of the Sword Coast v1.45

7. Secret of Bonehill v2.05

8. All other mods, except the ones on this list (they should go after Big Picture v177)

9. Big Picture v177
....
12. BP-BGT Worldmap v6.3

...

Well, french noob here ! :blush: (=> idiot with bad english :woot: )

i find a Northern Tales of the Sword Coast V. 2.01 polish version + NTotSC_English_patch_2.01B
He said in the read me txt : ...If you have installed DSotSC, you need to uninstall it first and the whole game. DSotSC can corrupt files of the game instantly. This installer includes here DSotSC as well, but safe version...

I don t found nothin about it here.

I ve just instal a regular games BG1 and II with patchs nothin more. waiting for information. Thx

So could i change the both, DSotSC v1.85 and NToftSC v 1.45 for this one ?
Cause we could expecting it s work better ... Or absolutely not ? ( no compatibilities with the rest )

Use Northern Tales of the Sword Coast v1.45 with BGT, the other version is for BG1 only.

You cannot use this translation directly, you will destroy your dialog files. This is ONLY for standard BG1 and NON-WeiDU version. It may be possible to translate the BGT-WeiDU version by copy/paste from the translated dialog.tlk to the .tra files but it won't be an easy task.

BGT-WeiDU 1.02f is out now, you should use that version instead (no more problems with the worldmap).

BG2 FixPack and BGT-WeiDU are translated into French. The other mods are not translated, and like I said, no, you can't use the existing translation for the old version. No workaround. One can try to translate DSOSC by copy/pasting from the dialog.tlk to the .tra files, but it is much more difficult than it sounds. It may be easier to do a new translation from scratch.

La Couronne de Cuivre is not "my baby". If it was the case, the site would be online right now ;) Sadly, I don't have any information of what happened there, and I don't know if we can hope for this site to be back online one day :crying:

@ Anomaly
i ve reach u a PM msg

... It may be easier to do a new translation from scratch.

What s mean "scratch" ?

Even with Near infinity editor ? I ve open the chitin.key in it, just quickly take a look; i saw dialogues but don t know how to write a translation in place of. So anyway, i m afraid to make some mystake about compilation or technical issue.

Just suggest to make some translation with original et ref. number dialogues in reference. Put the work here, if i get the permission... ? It s not really clever but simple... Hope to find someone who s manage the technical upgrad in the differents mod at the instal process with french version too.
Sometimes at the install, i saw german...spanish version, too. i guess theres a possibility ?

what do u think about ? I m insane, or just a dreamer ... ? So, be happy to be a smaller contibuter under a major directory management process.

... well, an another point, for curious mind; i don t watch a real "maping" editor in it, i don t explored the near infinity tool more enough, or it not existing anyway ?

hmm nobodies seems interest ... May be glad to get "Chevalier" for drivin my "ambition" :(
:whistling: show me the way :whistling:

So Anomaly, do u remeber my remarks about the thunder wand bug ? I ve find the trick about this Thunder wand. I need to click "all the charge" on each attack, and wait few instant. Only one is launch and count, so it s ok. Just need to select all charge each time.
But seems working better with a sorcerer ... means, almost normal ... :)

In every mod you have some files named somethin.TRA
they are in fact simple text files which you can open with any text editor - they are what you need to translate ;)

@0 = ~So. You must be the Bhaalspawn Melissan told me of. I have been expecting you.~ [BALTHA07]
@1 = ~How do you know who I am?~
@2 = ~Where is Melissan? I need to speak with her.~
@3 = ~Yes, I am <PRO_HESHE>.~
@4 = ~I am Balthazar, head of the monastic order here in Amkethran and its ruler, as well, although that is not an official position. Melissan preceded you and told me of your coming.~ [BALTHA08]
@5 = ~Melissan has already left the village, and did not say where she was going. She has left with me directions for you to reach these...enclaves...she mentioned. Is this what you expected?~ [BALTHA09]
@6 = ~No. She said she would meet me here.~
@7 = ~She mentioned you...I appreciate your help.~
@8 = ~How can I trust you to give me proper information? I know nothing about you.~
@9 = ~And I know little enough of you, Bhaalspawn. Melissan has vouched for you, however, so I'll tolerate your presence and give you what you need.~
@10 = ~I do not know where Melissan may have gone, nor do I care. As for you, Melissan has vouched for you...I'll tolerate your presence, for now, and give you what you need.~
@11 = ~Melissan has vouched for you, <CHARNAME>. As far as that goes, I will tolerate your presence and give you the information that Melissan asked me to.~
@12 = ~Here are the maps to the enclaves Melissan mentioned. Neither of them are very far from here, as you can see...add them to your own map, if you wish.~
@13 = ~Do with them as you wish, <CHARNAME>. Amkethran is available for your supplies and rest...do not disturb my own activities and we'll not come to grief, is that understood?~
@14 = ~What sort of activities are you talking about?~
@15 = ~I was expecting someone a little...friendlier.~
@16 = ~Do not threaten me, Balthazar.~
@17 = ~Fair enough...it's your town, after all.~
@18 = ~That's none of your business. You'll not be allowed into my fortress...anywhere else is open to you. Good day and good luck to you, <CHARNAME>.~
@19 = ~Meeting with Balthazar

@1 = ~Comment savez vous qui je suis?~
@2 = ~Où est Melissan? Je dois parler avec elle.~
@3 = ~Oui,c'est moi <PRO_HESHE>.~
@6 = ~Non. Elle a dit qu'elle me rencontrerait ici.~
@7 = ~Elle vous a mentionné...J'apprécie votre aide.~
@14 = ~De quelles sortes d'activités parlez-vous?~
@15 = ~J'avais espéré quelqu'un d'un peu plus...amical.~
@16 = ~Ne me menacez pas, Balthazar.~
@17 = ~Honnêtement...c'est votre ville, après tout.~
@19 = ~Rencontre avec Balthazar

I have finally met with Balthazar, the head of the monastic order in Amkethran, and while he was not exactly welcoming he did allow me to remain in the town so long as I did not attempt to enter the monastery or otherwise interfere in his business...and passed on to me the maps to the Bhaalspawn enclaves that Melissan presumably gave him.
