This name may or may not ring a bell with some people here, but I'm still looking for writers to help make this mod a reality.

Basically, in a nutshell, Valasse is found as a little girl, barely 13 or so, in Irenicus dungeon, and in the course of the game she becomes "older" very rapidly, in terms of physical development, even to exceeding the age of the PC. Along the way she develops a romance with the PC, and while some Stats improve as she matures, they also start to deteriorate after a while. She goes through a few other changes as well, class wise, and there is a good reason for this in the backstory (which will be unveiled through the Mod)

Note that while Valasse may appear 13 when joining the party, she is in reality much older than that, so if you're thinking she's a child, and she will stay a child, think again.

Meantime, off the side there will be a race against time to save her, and at the end of the Mod completion, FINALLY a Romance that can stay with you IF you choose to accept the Throne So you can have your cake and eat it too.

Maybe it is not such a good idea? I mean, thirteen is thirteen, no matter how fast a learner she is.

I don't think it matters whether she ages fast or learns fast, or both, if it happens within weeks or months, not five or six years. I am still highly uncomfortable with the idea.

I'm trying to get my mind around how the passage of chronological time could be more important than physical and mental maturation in determining a person's suitability for a sexual relationship.

It's all explained in the mod itself, don't worry. It makes sense in context, and I can ASSURE you, nothing untoward will happen at all in the mod, having seen the concept myself.

BTW, though Valasse may appear to be 13 or so in Iren's dungeon, she is far from it. On top of that, yes, nothing untoward happens. She should exceed the PC's physical age during the course of the game, in fact...

I have to say I agree with your first reply there is something very wrong about this i seriously suggest you re- think this carefully.

I'm afraid I can't say anything that would not be majorly spoiling. As for "Any Other Information", the information that she is not in fact 13 years old when you meet her, should probably be enough to settle the matter. The additional pieces of information that she will mature past even the PC's age should also be enough.

However if both these pieces of information are to be ignored there's not much more to add on the matter, since information does not override emotional prejudice of those who do not process the additional information. If it helps I do not intend any Sex in the mod. I will add the additional information to the Opening Post to prevent further such misunderstandings.

However I am not here asking for hosting for Valasse. I NEED writers to get her off the ground.

Those among Staff here who know her concept to some level of detail are Kaeloree and Sir Kalthorine, if he still remembers what I sent him ages ago.

All following details are not finalised, but this is what is already known.

She appears Human.

Her classes are
1-4 : Mage
5-9 : Mage/Kensai (advancing as single-class Mage)
10-15 : Mage/Kensai (advancing as multi-class)
16-22 : Mage(active) / Kensai(inactive)
22+ : varies (if she is still alive)

Her portraits are


Her Stats change in the course of the game, and vary as follows
- Stats (start)
Str 5 Dex 16 Con 9 Int 14 Wis 8 Chr 14
- Stats (level 5 - Kensai Class gained)
Str 12 Dex 16 Con 14 Int 14 Wis 8 Chr 14
- Stats (peak)
Str 16 Dex 18 Con 14 Int 18 Wis 10 Chr 14
- Stats (level 20)
Str 11 Dex 15 Con 9 Int 18 Wis 10 Chr 11
- Stats (level 22)

She also gains some negative regeneration rate at higher levels as her death becomes more imminent.

MajorTomSawyer can be contacted for his comments regarding her Stat changes (upwards. the downward versions aren't implemented yet) and how her appearance and class changes.

Details would be nice as I am having a very hard time getting past the age issue and would like more information. The spoilerish point does not bother me because I have no intention of ever romancing a 13 year old.
