Where should I send comments on the CA Homepage?

1) Ned should be added to the NPC list on the home page. There are ways to keep him.

Ned was never supposed to stay. SirBillyBob and I have discussed this many times?SirBillyBob is still trying to fix this problem. Some NPC?s are not listed because it might be considered a huge storyline spoiler. Actually Blodegett and Ilhara weren?t going to be listed but she is a minor character so it doesn?t matter so much. I know you have checked the dialog talk file. You will see dialogs for NPC7s'with names that start with M and F. They would be huge spoilers to include on the homepage. Maybe an NPC spoiler section could be added. We welcome your comments. Your posts are always helpful. Why not start a new thread.(This way it is easy for us to find and answer the post in one area)
(You can also send comments directly to me SirBillyBob or Celestine.)

I want Ned and Meepo! They are both fighter classes you can mess with. Meepo actually becomes rather cool once he gets the 5th short sword proficiency. Just put him in the front with full plate and watch him go. Okay, okay, even if it turns out to be a lesson in why you don't take Kobolds as long term comrades, I still think it would be fun to have him. What if he really wants to be good? You got Drizzt for the Drow, but the Kobolds got nada? Whassup? Give him a chance to rejoin after the apple quest. Please?
Possible Meepo quests:
The Dragonriders - Some Red Wizards learn of Meepo's dragon handling abilities and approach him to test his abilities and offer him a cushy dragonriding job. Second time, they offer more perks. Third time, they bring a press gang and steal him. Party must find him, then convince him that he wants to come back.
The Faux Pas - Meepo scares a ridiculing townsperson half to death, then is arrested. Party must convince the guard captain not to execute him, then must spend some time teaching him manners and ways of civilization. Sort of like dog training, only he can talk. Bad Meepo.
Althon's Bane - He's gotta, just gotta, pee on Althon's leg at least once. :whistling:

Yeah but Meepo's alignment is LE. Not sure, if he can be as cute or as annoying as Deekin, depending on how much you like Deekin the bard kobold.

I think Meepo would be killed in Saltmarsh by the guards. There would be no chance he would be put in prison. I like him too but he just doesn?t fit a group who travels from city to city. As for Ned, he is with the group such a short time. His only purpose is to do you know what top the group. There will eb other evil NPC's coming up. Trust me, the definitely are far more interesting than Ned.

Ned doesn't even have a soundset. Neither does Meepo, really. I don't have a problem with someone else doing all the work and adding their ideas into this as a mini-mod but both NPCs are out of scope for me right now. I am way behind in getting this package out the door as it is. I have no problems with someone coming up with ideas like this and adding to the game. It just won't be me.

One thing I love about CA are the numerous NPC's; I enjoy having a wide selection to choose from! It's good to see more NPC's are being added. :)

Found an amusing typo...

http://ca.spellholds...?p=npc&s=althon, in the description for his sword:

Special Abilities: Each hit causes 1 additional pint of damage per round until bandaged or a cure spell is cast.

(...losing a pint of blood per round probably does more damage than a point.)

Yeah, loosing a pint of blood does take a bit out of you... :P .

It's fixed, anything else?

We would like to say thank you once again to Kat (theacefes) for composing new music which will appear in the next update of Classic Adventures, v0.50. We are very happy to get her help! Ace has composed music for several mods and you can find many samples of her work at her website.

I also updated the Classic Adventures homepage to use the SHS icon (it used a blank one before). (Hope that's OK??) If anyone finds problems with the website or has suggestions on how to improve it, please tell us here :) .

The homepage has been updated.

Jul 23, 2009 -- Search capability added to homepage:
Since some people have had trouble finding what they are looking for on the homepage, we decided to add a search capability. It can be found at the bottom of every page. It's powered by Yahoo! (my favorite search engine) and is set up to only search Classic Adventure's domain. We hope it is helpful!

Jul 27, 2009 -- Version 0.50 Full released!:
Get it here.

As always, if anyone finds problems with the website or has suggestions on how to improve it, please tell us here :).
