Okay, so I picked up Edwin's corpse and Bodhi's heart, I've gone through most of the topics on this forum (figuring out that you also need the lock of hair for it all to work.), but I just don't know what statue of Amaunator the book was talking about!
Do you have to complete the Umar Hills quest before you can revive him? Because so far the only Amaunator statue I've come across is the one in the room just beyond Mazzy's cell and there's no altar there for you to put the body in.
Please forgive my ignorance I've played through almost every quest in BG2 EXCEPT the Umar Hills one so Im not very familiar with it.
Im at the end of my rope! I just want my Edwin back...

you do need to complete the temple quest first. if you do that you will find the altar you need and you will also get the symbol of Amunator that you need. hope this helps and good luck.
by the way how did you not know this? is Edwin the first romance you have done in BG2?

No, but in my other games, I've only finished the Xan romance, and he doesn't get vampirized. Edwin is the only other mod I am determined to play to the very end.
Thank you so much. I didn't expect a reply so soon! My heartfelt compliments to Laufey for this mod; as mentioned above, this is the first time Ive made it this far without romancing Xan...

glad to be of help. enjoy the rest of the Thayvian love, I sure did.
But if Xan and Edwin are the only romances you have done you may like some the others. Just test them out.

...just test Glabrezu-romance, it's really cool.
"Heroism is the profession of those people obsessed enough to want to save the world and too stupid to realize that it doesn't really want to be saved. The world treats heroes much the same way the body treats a germ. It gets rid of them. That's why there are plenty of ballads about heroes, but none about heroes who lived to a ripe old age and died happily in bed."©
