I know this is really old and no one probably cares any more, but I thought I would add my two cents anyway.

As to defeating the floating light sabers, a quick and easy (although somewhat cheap) way to defeat them is to do as follows.

1. Set as many high-powered explosives up on the long walkway leading up to Kriea as you can.
2. Use an energy shield and boost your speed. Either protection from energy or protection from force helps too.
3. Talk to Kriea. She'll summon the swords.
4. Run back down the long walkway; the swords will follow you but Kreia stays put.

The mines will either take out and/or severely weaken several of the light sabers. I usually only have to seriously deal with one or two. :)

I was a little disappointed with the romances as well. However, it's kind of fitting when you think about it.

Most irritating thing to me about the game was all the times in cutscenes and various other places the NPCs would refer to Revan as "he", when I had chosen the "she" option for Revan.

Well you gotta remember by default (that is cannically) Revan is a he (lightside), and the Exile is a she (also cannically, darkside)...go to Wikepedia.com and type in jedi exile in search, it'll explain what I mean...

Oh yes, I know that. But if that's why they were referring to Revan as he, then why let the player have the option to determine Revan's (or The Exile's) sex at all? If you're going to go with canon,  then go with it 100%. However, if you're going to let the players choose...then make sure everything in the game jives with their choice. I think the reason that the various "he's" were left in was more because of sloppy planning, or more likely the fact that they ran out of time before all the little details could be perfected.

In the end, it's not really THAT big of a deal. More of a minor irritant. It's still one of my favorite games.

Yeah I agree, I guess it was confusing and despite their lack of time to make it (unfinshed) it was still a pretty good game, not as good as the first but still not a bad sequal, lets hope they get it right with the third...
