I have all of the SSF files extracted from the game which contains the soundsets. I don't know how to convert SSF to wav files. The SSF file seems to be an archive of several soundset files, though there doesn't seem to have any tools available to extract them out. Can anyone help me?

There is a Soundset (SSF) File Editor v. 0.3 for Kotor here, but I'm not sure if it works for NWN 2
After an eternity away from you all, I've returned.

Heh, SSF files are nothing but pointers to the actual soundfiles. (If you check the size you'll find that they are only a few KB large. Current technology does not yet allow such an extent of compression)

The actual soundsets are in the Sounds.zip file (the huge one) -_-

If you extract that file you should see a folder named "NoSource" The dialog and soundset files are in this folder.

Although the files are named WAV files, they are actually MP3 files. A pathetic little encryption trick.
Just rename the files to MP3 and you should be able to play them on any media player. ;)

After over one year you are still around to help me with the soundset again. Thank you so much!
I guess if a tree falls in the forest it does make a sound.

Quiet Lurker, I am not playing NW2 only extracting the sounds to use in a MOD. Are there any NPC quest sounds which are not in the sounds folder? If so where would I find them. I am looking for Qara and Elanee sounds.

I do hope you have the CDs (or DVD) handy then. :P

Try the large VO.zip file. (>700MB)
All the dialog files are in this folder. They are better named than their corresponding Soundset files.
Hey, it's your fault. You asked for soundset files, not dialog files!

Same procedure as before, rename to mp3 to play. ;)
You may find this program to be of great help. ;)
