dualclassing in BP mega install

Just got my mega install of BP (not BPT) working using erebusant's excellent instrustions and a large helping hand from ronin and seanas.
However, can't seem to dual class anymore...tried starting a game, gave myself experience to test and could not select dual class. Is this something known or am I being a bit foolish! Even maxed stats and tried again to test, still nothing, tried with both human and elf.
Also, really like the sound of TDD's Priest of Mystra, anyone played this kit? (not sure if this is the right question for this forum), can you dual class with one of these kits (eg fighter/priest of Mystra)?
Thanks
Sam

I can't dual class at all, the button is just not active on me or any NPC. I tried with a few different combinations of race and class, and to make doubly sure I used the SHIFT+CTRL+8 trick to max out all stats at 18 then tried again. (But thinking about it, always as a fighter first).
I guess it must be something else I've installed! I have now settled on an elven Fighter/Cleric/Mage as I found that without XP limits he can progress without limit in all classes!
No other issues to report at the moment

In BG2, BG1, IWD...umm, you were playing a HUMAN character, weren't you? only humans can dual-class in BGII...
Also remember that you can dual class most original subclass (kits) to other class, but you can't dual class one kit to another...or one of base class to kit.
Hints:
Fighter->Thief //STR and DEX (min. 15STR, 17DEX or something like that)
Fighter->Mage //STR and INT
Fighter->Cleric //need STR and WIS
Thief->Mage //need DEX and INT
Thief->Fighter //DEX and STR?
Thief->Cleric //DEX and WIS
Cleric->Mage //WIS and INT
Cleric->Thief //WIS and DEX
Cleric->Fighter //WIS and STR
Mage->Cleric //INT and WIS
Mage->Thief //INT and DEX
Mage->Fighter //INT and STR
Ranger->Cleric //CON and WIS
Cleric->Ranger //WIS and CON
###propably same in case of druid dualclass <Druid: WIS and CHR>###
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Those are propably all...there are mods however which extends dual class possibilities (include barbarian etc.)
Fixed some requirements and added more.

Hints:
Fighter->Thief //STR and INT should be DEX
Fighter->Mage //STR and INT
Fighter->Cleric //need STR and WIS
Thief->Mage //need INT and DEX DEX and INT
Not pointing out your errors just stopping someone from complaining that they received wrong info here.

There certainly is the one and only G3TWEAKS, Expanded Dual-Class Options, who could live without barbarian/cleric and the wildmage/thief.
These are the only two kits that will ever be dual class options as they are the only two that are stable enough for this purpose. I suppose someone might correct me but i would'nt recommend messing about with a monk as a dual class option unless you like the look of your desktop

There should be no problem with bard, paladin and ranger expanded dual class possibilities...but there's no mod offering it. Well...I can live without itwould'nt recommend messing about with a monk as a dual class option unless you like the look of your desktop
Ya know...2nd edition rules.

if you try and dual-class bard, paladins or rangers, you will see yr desktop: they're hardcoded to not allow dual-classing. that's why there's no mod for this.There should be no problem with bard, paladin and ranger expanded dual class possibilities...but there's no mod offering it. Hi again,
...don't quite remember if using human! But must be my problem because I've got Yoshimo and been able to dual him to a fighter!
sorry...Thanks tho.
