I completed the BG1 part of the game, the transition to BG2 worked fine.
However, i am at the end of Irenicus dungeon, first level and i cannot use the portal towards level 2. I have the "wand lightning key" and the "frost wand key", but when i use the portal i get only "This portal needs a key of some sort in order to activate".

What can i do ? Thanks.

that's because you have NEJ2 installed, and you have to do NEJ2 before you can enter the second level of Irenicus' dungeon.

Nah, there's a key in guarded room (Irenicus sacred Ellesime room ^^ with tons of traps and 2 golems activation trigger), near 3 dryads...this key is undroppable. You need it to get through portal.

Yep, sorry. There was another key i didn't see, obviously named "Portal key". Thanks.
