I made the huge mistake of entering the city of Baldur's Gate with Cu'choineach in my party, and of course his dog.
The problem is that now i'm in the final act, when the Flaming Fist is hostile to me. The dog keeps spawning in each location i visited with Cu'choineach and attack the Flaming Fist soldiers, decreasing my reputation immediately.

What can i do to keep him completely out of the game ??

Thank you.

Use the sewers under baldur's gate, attack the dog, or if you have debug mode on, use Ctrl+y on the dogs.

I would just use the sewers if you want to avoid the fist.

I am surprised he is still with you. Cuchy should have a 10 day limit that if you haven't gone to Castle Daerthmac yet, he will leave you. Once that quest is over, he leaves you completely. He and his wolf were never designed for dealing with Baldur's Gate and the later chapters.

Well, i wandered with Cuchy a lot, did a lot of quests all around, and in the end i did the Daerthmac castle quest; i'm not sure i exceeded the 10 days limit, but sure as hell did a lot of quests in lots of areas before going to Daerthmac. After finishing the quest, Cuchy left my party allright. But the dog keeps spawning in each area previously visited with Cuchy in party.

That is because the dog was added to each ARE file when spawned there. He should disappear within a second or two. The wolf's script checks to see if Cuchy is still with you and if not, he leaves. A slower machine should take longer for this to happen.

Well, for some reason the check doesn't work as it should, cause he doesn't disappear at all. He stays as long as i stay; actually, in the Gate area of Baldur's Gate, i have two dogs spawning; if i Ctrl-Y him, next time i enter the area, he spawns again.

haha....i hv one stupid question to ask....mayb this is another bug which i never mention till now...
i m now playing NT V171 & DS V215,
but upon some quest giver i saw it double interaction, such as
the dragon slaying quest giver "Jeremy" spawn out twice as i walked into Nashkel Inn.
Then another thing i saw 2 CuChocy the first time i met him at the woods between Beregost & Nashkel.
Now my question is Cuchocy & his damn dog leaves as soon as i done citadel quest,
so i went back to the woods again to invite another copy of cuchocy to join to accompany me till the rest of the game.lol....
So,my question is,after i asked the 2nd copy of cuchocy join, his dog will never spawn out,how to enable the features?

Hi guys,
I have a different problem - I managed to keep CuChoinneach in my team (BGT), I'm in the Underdark. And the dog's missing suddenly! I really want it back, does anyone know it's CLUA code? Is there a way to have it back in my team? The dog was the reason for which I kept CuCho in my team... Thx for help!

If you just want a dog that follows you around, try the Haiass mod. I think CuChoinneach's dog is dswolf1.
