I'm posting this here, cause I already posted this problem at Blackwyrm's Lair, but I can't get a decent answer there. Only comments about not supporting the installed mods. (they are compatible according to the various sources on this forum).

Anyways, this is my problem:

I played the main quest of TS taking the good path and resurrecting Kashimo. I entered Spellhold through the pirate king. Then, this blabla the sane fellow introduced me to spellhold and the inmates. When I slept, Irenicus teleported in and began his long conversation. Yoshimo told him that the curse had been lifted etc etc.
Then, the scene started with the protagonist in the tube. (from a quick glance I could see that Yoshi was still in my party) And at the moment the soul sucking from the shadow thieves should start, nothing happened. My char just stood there in the tube doing nothing. Irenicus just stood there doing nothing. At some point I decided for fun to see what happened if I slinged some bullets at Irenicus. At that moment the whole scene started again, but this time with Yoshi betraying me. And then the soul sucking DID happen and the dream etc etc.
Is there anything that can be done about this?

UB's "Suna Seni" comes to my mind. I had Valygar with me and also have stuck there. I've reloaded the game, then cluaed myself to the "tube" level, then created PPSUNA.CRE in front of main tube, then cluaed back and waited for Irenicus. Everything was fine.
If you don't have Valygar with you then it's smth else.


EDIT:
I don't know anything about repeating scene and Yosh's betraying and successful completing the scene.

well, that is Vlad's right to support or not support whatever mod combination he chooses: that's why we tell ppl to come here if they're using his mods as part of a mega install.

i'm not sure what needs to be done for you: you seem to have got it working, thru an ugly but effective workaround. there's clearly an issue with TS-BP and BP working together - my guess (cos i was loking at the spellhold scene last night) is that BP has misnamed one or more of the cutscenes that can happen, depending upon yr actions. these files don't need ot be added by BP (TS-BP can do all the heavy lifting) so it'll be fixed for a future BPv178.

the separate chores mod allows yuo to skip doing the chores (or do them faster, as you choose)

i'm not sure what needs to be done for you: you seem to have got it working, thru an ugly but effective workaround.

Actually I don't, because in the end when I DO get the cutscene to start, Yoshimo suddenly left the party after all, even though he told Irenicus that the geas are removed. Also, as the scene starts again, Yoshimo apologizes for his betrayal and says there's no other way. So somehow, when the scene starts again after hurting irenicus, yoshimo's redemption through the mainquest of TS doesn't seem to have happened.

Yippie! That worked! Thanks so much I'm glad, because I've been able to play this monsterinstallation so far without any problems. No major ones anyhow *raps knuckles on wood* Let's hope it stays this way.

interesting: so there really IS a conflict between TS and UB. god to know for future reference.
