Hello,

Firstly I would just like to say this is a top mod, I've not played BG1 for ages but this has definately rekindled my interest and I do intend at one point to play through the entire saga using the BGT. I've got a small amount of the way through but I'm pretty rubbish at the game and have been killed twice by random encounters

Just a question with multiplayer games, I have tried to connect to a friend through gamespy but I cannont connect to my friend when he hosts, it says it is unable to connect, and when I try to host, through gamespy and on the normal Baldur's Gate: Throne of Bhaal the game freezes after hitting New Game. Now this probably isn't a BGT problem, more over probably just me not having all the ports on my router open, him not having his open or a messed up install.

I've not got any other mods installed only the BGT, just wanted to know has anyone had a similar problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

If its not a BGT problem I apologise for wasting people time and I'll look for a solution elsewhere.

I know nothing of BGT, I but I know that playing the BG series over the internet with TCP/IP protocol can take a bit of effort to get working. (I only play over a LAN using the IPX protocol.)

Have you both installed the official patch? Also, according to Bioware, if you have Tales of the Sword Coast expansion you need both "TOSC Patch" and "TOSC DirectX 8+" patches for multiplayer game to work. Best place for multiplayer help is probably the Bioware's boards.

Make sure you've got (both) the same version of game...and for the best effectiveness make sure u've got the latest patch for Throne of Bhaal (well, not this BETA)
