Last night, pre generated a random character. Clicked on export, game froze. I gave up, switched off at the mains.
This morning, started BG up. The opening credits were stuttering, the menu was stuttering. I came onto here, download the baldur.bcs from the "Stutter 2" thread, then tried it again. Didn't work.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening?
*My specs should be fine, there's only 250MB in my overdrive folder*

Also, on checking my original baldur.bcs, it was 657kb. If that matters.

EDIT~Replaced baldur.bcs in jassy/backup/0 in the BG file. Game started, still choppy, actually worked this time.
In Brynnlaw atm, I tried dropping all my items, and all my containers, nothing happened, still chopping and stuttering.

If everything was ok before that export lock up, I'd try a full reinstallation (as tiresome as that is). If it's happening on the menu screens, something's seriously fubared your install.
