Through lightning, travel shadow,
Through hell and all above,
Surviving sword and arrow,
Bound stronger by the love
***
And in the end a witness,
To where the death has lain,
Silent through the sorrow,
Where innocents lie slain

Hi all.
For three yrs or so I stuggled to mod my own NPC. Then in a fit of wisdom I gave up. Modding is beyond me and at my age I am just to thick to learn computing. Fair enough.
After a bit of discussion with SHED, among others, I decided to take my dialog and quests and what not that I had written up for my mod and convert/change it to a BG2 FanFic story. I was/am much happier with things now. (Though I am still looking for someone to put the mod together for me - I AM a fool to dream)
Anyway....
I am about 70 pages into a pretty good retelling of BG2 following CHARNAME and Co, but...
Here is the thing, in my fanfic, the tale Does NOT start in Irenicus's little playpen. Rather I start with my modded folk in a prolog and then begin the actual BG2 story in the first dungeon as Chapter 1. (After the into things go along more or less "in order" and my other stuff doesn't appear again for a time)
I am just wondering if this is allowed, here, or if I should find another place to post.
Please let me know.
Ever,
Minotaur

They say the world is going to Hell.
They are wrong.
The world IS Hell! Always has been, always will be; except perhaps for the five percent or so of the population who can afford differently.
And, if one must reside in Hell, it is far better to do it as a minion of the Devil than as a member of the damned.

Btw, I don't mean to be too harsh with this post... run-through-the-game can be good, but it has to make an effort on originality, otherwise it loses its interest.
So, minotaur, what I meant to say is, go ahead. I'm not a moderator but I'm pretty sure it's not forbidden.

I was not sure what was okay and what was not.
In any event, I will post the prologue and chapter one in the next day or three.
Thanks again and sorry to step on any toes with this post placement. It was an accident.
We MINOTAUR's are computer brain dead.
