Hi there,
I am going to attempt a mega install with BP/CTB/TDD/SOS/TS. I was wondering if NEJ2 can be used with BP when not using BGT (ie not installing BG1), because I only want to play BG2. If it is possible to use NEJ2 with BP without using BGT, should I still install the compatibility patch?

Also, a content question: are there any NPCs with NEJ2 that you have to carry around through the whole game or large portions of it? ie are there any NPCs that semi-permanently fill up one of your npc slots?

With Nej2v42b.exe and NeJ2v602.exe you don't need BGT. I don't think you need the patch and you Need to have Hrothgar in your party.

The soon to be released 3rd part of NeJ may require BGT, if you want more info it's best to ask on the blackwyrm forums.
