Docks Stutter Bug

I'm currently playing through a Mega-Modification, and it has been working fine up until this point. There had been a minor amount of stuttering but I was using several containers so that was to be expected. However the stuttering becomes severe the moment I being the fight with the Nethlander Pirates. I have tested it a few times and this is always the spot where the stuttering starts, I have no idea how to solve it. To this point I have tried dropping all containers and removing regeneration items, but that has done nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

EDIT: Thanks for the help all, it all works now. As an added bonus now all the stutter is gone as well woohoo!

Guessing you have got through the encounter and the severe stutter remains afterwards?

Yes I've tried to go past it, I got warped to the Government District right after (plot-thing) then to test I went to the Umar Hills (making sure it wasn't an area thing) but it continued. If it matters I am playing it on the highest settings, would lowering it help? Or is the stuttering caused by something ingame rather than computer capabilites (I've read its an ingame thing)?

Playing on the absolutely lowest hardware settings didnt affect my stutter at all. Changing from a multiplayer game to a singleplayer game seems to have helped me somewhat, altho I just noticed it doing it in the docks district...dropped a couple of scroll cases and its not really perceptible again. Down to three containers....

if it's always starting at this point, then either some other mod is interfering with the pirates event, or the pirates event is itself bugged. i've never had any problems with it using BPv177 and TDD v1.11, so i'm guessing something you've got has messed with it, and so a variable somewhere is being mis-set, or it's matching code block has been altered, and so the game engine is constantly trying to activate a broken script block.

i'm not able to give detailed assistance for a while, so yr only real optino is to open the relevant files in Infinity Explorer, NI or DLTCEP; work out what variables are set at the end of the pirates event (ie, what variables are needed to reveal the Haunted Forest area on yr worldmap), set those variables via the CLUA, and then CLUA yrself to the Haunted Forest and keep going.
