Thanks to all for the supportive comments - I am aware that the prospective "audience" for Chrysta will be very limited now due to interest in the game as a whole waning, but so long as there are even a small group out there interested in her, rest assured that I will be seeing this through to the end.

Chrysta is an itch that I WILL finish scratching before it drives me utterly bonkers

I am working my way through the old Chrysta files at the moment while playing through the BG series again with a few of the newer NPC mods to refresh my memories of the game and give me an idea of what standards I have to live up to now. The serious work begins in about a week once I am fully re-acclimatised to the game and have had a chance to brief the members of the Chrysta team, after which I plan to do a good impression of a runaway modding steam engine

Heh... well I am up to 5 years since I first had the idea, so I am over halfway through Robert Blake's waiting period already
