Black Screen of Doom

I'm currently playing a BP-BGT-NEJ and other stuff game. Everything went fine through BG1 but when I talk to Belt to go to BG2 I have a problem. It shows the starting movie for the game then loads the area and all I get is a black screen. If anyone can help that would be great.

Do you mean it shows you the BG2 intro, then you get a black screen? Do you hear the ambient dungeon noise in the background? Also, will the game still prompt you to quit when you Alt-F4? If yes to the last question, there might a be script loop. If the game is actually frozen, there might be a missing resource/bad function, although I don't know what that would be yet.I'm currently playing a BP-BGT-NEJ and other stuff game. Well actually I now feel like an idiot, I got annoyed with it when it happened again so I just left it like that. About 5 minutes later it suddenly started the right thing. Sorry for asking for help for a problem I didn't have.
