As far as I see, the current build is the same than a month ago.

Seems rather dead. :(
Her lips were red, her looks were free
Her locks were as yellow as gold
Her skin was white as leprosy.
The Nightmare Life-in-Death was she,
Who thicks man's blood with cold.

This isn't Team Gizka's project, but take a look.

I'm giving it a try right now. It doesn't seem to work with the movies switched on, but I've seen them plenty of times. As for additional content, a Duros bounty hunter tried to take me out on Telos Station. I'm currently dirtside on Telos, with nothing more yet.

On Dantooine, there's a new NPC who alters slightly the earlier missions before you head to the enclave, and who you can get a lightsaber from. And it appears the HK-50 Droids weren't joking when they said they would pursue you everywhere you went. since a small group turned up on Dantooine.

There have been a couple of graphical glitches, though I can't be sure they're things introduced by this. There was one oddity on Dantooine after I declared ready to fight the mercenary attack Vrook declared he'd go and delay them and promptly stood where he was. After a reload, that cleared. Otherwise, it's not caused any problems although I am playing it without any of the mods I normally use.

One other thing that's new, on Dantooine you fight the mercenaries outside as well as inside the building. And there's some nice loot to be picked up off them. On to Nar Shadaa!

I've got the latest patched version of Stoney's restoration mod, and the movie bug appears to be fixed: they work, however there's an odd, static screen briefly displayed before each movie plays.

On Nar Shadaa it's not just Atton who has a problem with bounty hunters - there's a fight between some of your crew and another group outside the ship to get through. Otherwise there didn't seem to be anything new there, or on Dxun/Onderon, or on Korriban. I did discover you need to talk to HK-47 and wait if you want the HK-50 quest to activate. It's the return to Dantooine and to a slightly lesser degree to Telos where there's a lot more content, though I probably shouldn't give spoilers for it. And Malachor has significant additions too, though again I don't want to post spoilers. I thought it was well worth a playthrough, though I've played the game enough that I don't really want to run through it again just now. I very strongly recommend keeping up with the latest patches, since there are a lot of things that are supposed to happen which don't necessarily do so.

This is not really news but in case you're wondering there is a way to fight two of the Jedi Masters back on Dantooine in the final portion of the game. Simply come to an agreement with Zez-Kai-El afterwards on Nar Shaddaa then weaken all the defenses and morale of Khoonda. Choose to fight with the Republic but allow the merc leader to kill the Administrator once he prompts you then Vrook will simply leave, not really big news but I find it makes for a better finale on dark then just arriving with none of them there ;) You'll have to fight Kavar regardless on Onderon however...

TSL Restored Content Mod Is Released

Team Gizka never got their project finished, but you can read about their current situation at SITE DOWN.

I guess the wait is over now... now I just need to finish my local area time stop machine to get enough time to play this and everything else.

Wow, it's a shame, but at least we have *something*, which more than some cynics ever hoped for (no, I'm not one of them ^_^ ). I'll certainly give a whirl, but probably not anytime soon, as I've got a lot on my plate these days (never mind that Mass Effect 2 and Assassin's Creed are waiting for me, I've got "real" work to do). How about you lend me that time machine, Archmage Silver? ;)

Heh, I've got to finish a few games myself before plunging back into KotOR II for the second time. Personally I blame the developers for finishing too many good RPGs in the last year or so... ;)

As for the Team Gizka situation, I haven't exactly been holding my breath for the years it's been in progress, so I'm just glad that this project got finished. I even read that there might be new M4-78 mod in the works, one that would be compatitible with this Restored Content Mod.

At any rate, it's good to have something tangible after all these years. :)

I've started playing KOTOR2 a bit again (such a good game even when unfinished) so I wanted to try out this restored content mod.

However I just can't access the site to get it. Really. I've tried Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer and Chrome and none of them can load the page.

Does anyone else get this or know what's going on? Because this is a real kick in the teeth.

Yeah, site seems to be down. The first post here has some mirrors for it.

You can find the latest (1.6) version of TSL Restored Content Mod here. I've updated the links in my previous posts in order to avoid confusion with the links, plus I've also updated the first post/thread headline. The Gizka poll is also gone now.

As for the original Team Gizka restoration project, it looks like it's dead for good. Their site has been down for weeks at this point, and it looks like the project leader isn't going to return. I'll monitor the situation for a while, but I think everyone should just start using the TSL Restored Content Mod 1.6.

Quoting myself on the new first post:
