Hi.
I have problem with installation BGT. When I want install component 'Baldur's Gate Trilogy Core 1.01', I have an error...and I don't know what's wrong.

Where is problem?

you didnt type in your bg1 directory correctly, take a look in the BGT readme it tells you exactly what you need to do.

did you edit the baldur.ini file as the readme instructions direct? and did you type in the location of the BG directory correctly?

I can't do this, because there's no place to write location of the BG directory. In earlier version, sth like this was after the question about installation. Now I don't have it. I can only select 'yes', and maybe 2 seconds after this is error.

Then you did something seriously wrong because it does ask you to type in the BG1 directory. You might be hitting enter/return too fast and bypassing the question.

It is imposibble.
I try to install BGT not once, twice, or thrice.

Somebody have BGT ver. 1.00? Maybe this version works in my computer correctly?

Your .tp2 and mine are identidal to the letter. File size is identical to the byte. I get asked the question where bg1 installation is with your tp2 file so you must have done something wrong.

it looks like, now that i look further, that your PreSetup.bat isnt firing. Can you check to see if its even there? It sould be in BGT\Language\English (i noticed that you picked english during the install, I did also).

If there is something wrong with it I would just redownload BGT1.01 and extract it again.

So I don't have an idea what's wrong... Everything I do correctly, I'm sure. With earlier version I don't have any problems... Only with this.

Yes, there's here. I'm interesed polish version, but every works incorrectly. English too.

See the addition to my post above, just redownload it and try it again, either your PreSetup.bat isnt there or its not working properly.

What operating system are you using? I dont understand it either, your .tp2 worked on my system (XP/sp2). what program are you using to extract the file?

Windows XP, Service Pack 2, WinRAR.
I check version ZETA. It doesn't work correctly.
Ech, I must reinstall operating system, and everything will be fine, I think.

Yes, have a good look at dragonian's link and you should not need to reinstall your OS.
