*nods* Xan is obviously a mod with a different style than Edwin, so I'd say it's a bit difficult to compare them. While I haven't played it myself, I'm sure it could be very good, and probably what you prefer depends on what you're looking for at the time.
As for Edwina being tickled...she'd react much the same way as Edwin, I'd say. Amusingly hysterical.

Aww... I found ze cutest in-game dialogue! Edwin speaks to a boy in Athkatla. The dialogue has to be one of the sweetest in the game, and definetly one of my new favourite moments. <3
Lets just say it ends with the boy hugging his new 'hero'. As far as I can tell, it is a completely unmodded dialogue.
