Rehash - Sarevok's Death

For everyone's information,

Sarevok seemed to die because his MINHP1 was either removed, or didn't get hex-patched in in the first place. Don't know if BP-WeiDU has anything to do with this.

With both of Rakhu's savegames, I had no problems getting Irenicus to appear on a NeJ2-BGT only install and using the AR0602.BCS Rakhu posted. This could spell out a compatibility problem --- BP-WeiDU again? I don't know, I'm just fishing. :)

Anyway, I've sent Rakhu an Auto-Save after the transition. Since most of the data is included in the savegame, there shouldn't be any major problems. AR0602.ARE might be a bit different from his version, but I don't think that will break going to NeJ2 or the main quest of Shadows of Amn. Here's hoping...

BP doesn't touch Sarevok, and the only alterations it makes regarding MINHP1 are with LAVOK01.cre and PPIRENI2.cre.

i didnt have any trouble making Rakhu's AR0602.bcs work with my BP+BGT+TDD install either. mysterious...

@Ascension64/Seanas: Thanks a lot for trying to figure that one out. I'll try the savegame and see if it works on my install.
But tell me, where is AR0602 centered when you make the transition to BG2? Is it exactly at the same place like when you create a new BG2 game? There must be something messing up that starting position and probably other things too.
There's another vague idea I have - Minsc lost Boo somehow during BG1. When I clicked on Boo, some kind of wolf was summoned for my party and Boo disappeared in the inventory. Could this cause some kind of loop trying to check for Boo and, failing to find him, preventing the correct start? Or speaking of inventory, could any cursed items afflict the game somehow?

Tried the savegame now... It does work in so far that I can move around, but it seems like there's a dialog error with Minsc, as he can only move by quarter of an inch with each click and then stops... makes it impossible to play, as he doesn't even attack if the enemy is right next to him :( (and I don't want to play without him)

Edit: Short Sword from the table next to the golem gives +1 armor... I think it shouldn't.

Can you uninstall all of these one-by-one (starting from the bottom and working your way up), and test the transition (your old savegame --- just the Belt one is fine) every time you uninstall one mod?

that's a conflict between BP (or BGT), and TS and/or NEJ: the wolf is from TS, the clickable Boo is from NEJ and TS. it's notoriously easy to break this during install - i've never once managed to make the Boo familiar work successfully, for example, but others have.

there have been numeruons reports of TS and NEJ together, when run with BP-weidu, causing all sorts of flakiness in AR0602 and AR0603 - i'm wondering if this is the origin of all the problems you've been having.
