Which one would anyone recommend?
Personally i've used CtB in the past, but don't want to write NeJ off. As far as i understand NeJ and CtB are incompatible, so i was just looking for a bit of guidance... anyone?

I played only episode one of nej and tested ctb, i liked nej much more, balaned, good battles, practicaly bug free etc. In ctb i didnt liked unbalanced battles(30 easy enemies-golems for 13.000 each, early in the game in some mage tower etc.

I like both, but I like NeJ more than CtB.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the only compatibility issues with NEJ2 and any of the BP family mods were animation issues. Other than that NEJ2 should operate just fine with the rest of the installs. I recall many threads over on Vlad's NEJ2 forum where Horred did a complete run through with NEJ2 installed and only had minor problems. Nothing that was a game breaker.

NeJ2 and CtB are not 100% compatible, but are mostly compatible. They should work together, you might see the wrong animation a few times.
