Why didn't anyone start a new threadpost or README for the brand-new release of CtB (v1.? I need to know what the difference is from the previous one (v1.7) before I can decide if I need to DL it or not. Anyone can help me, KD maybe? Thank you

Savages! How did you know CtB v1.8 was out? You must have been perusing the mirrors.

All I know is, CtB v1.8 is meant to work with Worldmap v6, which should be released soon. As for other detailed fixes, better check with KD.

1) Worldmap v6 > support.
2) Sounds mastered and OGGed.

Worldmap v6 won't work with previous versions, so DL-ing of this version is a must.

But if you decided to stay with WM v5, you don't need this one.

Er..just a question.Sry if it already was in another thread.
Would it be okay if I install Ctb v1.8 and then TDD v1.11 without Worldmap?
Or is worldmap only for BGT installations?

the worldmap is also for bp components (sos,tdd,ctb,ts). i dont know what happens if you skip it - perhaps some areas are not visible

yeh.. I know it's for bp but I don't want to use ts and sos,so the question is if the areas from sos and ts would be visible after installation or would it be all right without the Worldmap.I'd like to be 100% sure before I install Ctb(what means reinstalling bg and other mods).

the worldmap checks yr weidu.log to see which worldmap-altering mods you've got installed, and only installs those bits relevant to the mods you've got installed - which is one of the reasons why you install the worldmap last.
