The :ahem: (perhaps it should be :cough-cough:) should be an obvious-enough hint......But I'll trust Azazello's assertion that some humans have pointy ears if s/he tells us how s/he knows.

Re: Ajantis. Yes, I was surprised no one brought up his portrait sooner. BM, I don't know what you were picking up on that bothered you about Ajantis, but for me it's his helm. Reconstructing it from the shadows wasn't easy and could even be argued as being unsuccessful. When I read what you wrote, I had a V-8 moment (as in slapping my forehead--a reference that dates me!). I don't know why I haven't tried replacing his helm altogether like I did Faldorn & Shar Teel's entire heads. That will probably be my next approach.

Yes, I was referring partially to the helm, but also to his left hand, it just looks really odd and pixilated.
I think the problem with the helm isn't really the lightning/shadowing you did on it, but rather its form. It looks much too tight on him, particularly around the neck. In the original portrait the background was so dark that it blended in with it, disguising the form. I think you should try separating the helm slightly from the neck on the left, and over on the right I'd thin or remove the line of the helm below his nose. Also, the left "horn" looks much thicker than it should be.
If you don't mind, I'd like to play around with the portrait a little.

What would be quite cool would be taking Viconia's BG1 portrait and making her actually look like a drow. This could be giving her the grey, almost ebony skin and another just so she matches her BG2 portrait.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.

As in natural. I was growing up, older people would call them 'pinched' ears. Not really Vulcan-pointy; more Eldoth-pointy. We are a rare breed...Azazello: As in naturally pointed or altered?
Gotta say, is the best Imoen art I've seen! "Playful yet mature": the playful smile, a sense of dashing rogue, and she's a beauty! Can now see why Viconia was a bit jealous, and Kesley always tries to mack on her.Imoen has her BG1 cheekbones and hair, her BG2 eyes and nose, new threads, and Angelina Jolie's mouth.

I like the new Viconia picture very much. Have you though of giving Ajantis long blond hair instead? As always great job!
Hmmm.. I am still not really content with Ajantis' helmet.. It looks as if the helmet is seen from the front, but his face/head is a little from the side, if you know what I mean, and it looks a bit too narrow around the head (still.. sorry). And I don't like the helmet but that's a different story.
The Viconia is just gorgeous... I can imagine (Ano)men falling for her attractiveness.
All in all a great job!!
But Ajantis... (and that's the portrait I'd take the most interest in).

Thank you for the wonderful art. This has become my default Imoen potrait.
This is awesome, wonderful work. I would love to add these to my gameplay -- right now, though, the site is down. Could someone indicate a mirror?
I can't find your pictures, catalogingjunkie has no DNS resolution for me

Thankies! I haven't thought of long hair, but I have thought of blond hair (see below). I *am* actually working on your commissioned work, btw. Give me another cpl of days or so.
