In another thread (DSotSC subforum) mildImp asked the following question:

So I have finished all the totsc content exept Durlags Tower and I have heard that, ironically the end battle with Sarovak is pretty much the easiest boss battle compared with nsotsc, dsotsc and even the conclusion of Durlags Tower quest. My question is this:

Is there going to be any problems with diverting my attention to finishing the main BG1 quest (confronting Sarovak in the Undercity) and then finishing Durlags Tower, nsotsc, dsotsc and THEN moving on to BG2? Will something in this chain of events prevent me from completing the rest of the game content I have listed.

Since I'm VERY interested in the answer to this question (and obviously asking myself the exact same one) I post here in hope to have A64 or KD (or anyone else of course) advice on the subject. Could/would it work?

PS just in case : before saying me the 'read the readme files' thing, pls note that I've not found anything in them (esp the BGT one) regarding that particular case

I could be wrong, but I get it so that after killing Sarevok BGT activates cutscene which eventually throws your party into Irenicus' dungeon without asking if you're done with BG1 or want to do something else, so killing Sarevok should be the last thing you do in BG1.

No. You're wrong. Listed events are not connected anyhow...

You'll be transferred to Irenicus dungeon upon talking to Belt after killing Sarevok. Before you did so you're free to do whatever you want....
