The Broken Hourglass is a game I am working on as a contracter for Planewalker Games (which is really a company run by JCompton of PocketPlane.net and Weimer of WeiDU fame). It's this game which has led to me ceasing work on Return to Windspear, at least until it's finished that is.

It seems that some content has been uploaded to the website (shock!) so I guess it's okay to link there now :)

Ah, too cool. Can't wait to see what you mod-gurus come up with!

The rule system you're using looks great, too, 'specially the mana thing and the soft party limit. Ooh, and the art's pretty!

*sits in patient anticipation*

Good job, guys and gals

Indeed it looks very interesting. I can't wait to find out more about the npcs and... well everything!

Broken Hourglass looks fascinating- I can't wait for more information. Er, if you don't mind, I'll just ask a few questions...

Who did the area art, what program was it done in, and with what renderer? It's beautiful- it looks like 3dsmax with a better renderer to me, but I could be wrong.

Is there a difference between arcane magic and clerical magic, and if so, what is the theory behind the cleric's getting their spells?

Sorry, you'll have to direct questions through the various e-mail addresses on the site :)

Maybe if someone wants to start a thread in a general game discussion forum (here on Studios, or somewhere else I can get at it) I can address some of your questions as time permits (rather than cluttering up Quitch's nice mod forum here with an unrelated game.)
