Hi horred,

no idea if your around any longer, ive been gone forever work RL crap, i have just and i mean just installed version 11, love it had no problems installing and its running smooth for myself and RL friends.

I have a question though, i may just be an idiot doing somthing wrong(very possible)
I cannot for the life of me get crafting to work, i went into the scripts to see some recipes to do a test run(make sure everything is ready to go), purchased needed items and attempted to make a shovel, had the tool making hammer, used the tinker machine the dialogue starts as in

window pops open asks what i want to craft..... but then only lists this option

What would you like to craft...

Well LMAO,
i installed completely 2 times on my laptop and then my tower
my lap top had all tables in the DB

low and behold there was NO cnr_misc tables in the tower i have no idea how that happened pretty strange anyway if you read thie Horred i figured out the problem crafting is a big GO!!!!!


thats it nothing more no other options

well if your around hope to here from you as i really enjoy what youve done and for myself and friends the crafting aspect is very enjoyable to us

Yes, hello...I'm still alive, still around. I haven't put much time into this mod because I have been tied up for many months with a previous mod engagement--the Big Picture (BP) mod for BG2 (see relevant forum under IE Completed Mods for details, if you are not familiar with it already and desire a more detailed explanation of "where my time has been spent". ).

It sounds like you don't have the SQL database running properly. I can only guess at what the precise problem would be, without some more information. I haven't updated this mod in eons; newer versions of the programs/NWN versions I had set this up for could very likely be causing problems I obviously could not have perceived in advance. I know for a fact that I have modified the same 2DA files that NWN and PRC have since modified. Perhaps a newer version of MySQL has some compatability issues. Perhaps you are not running it properly. (I can only guess).

I will be addressing this mod at some future date; after BP is finished, before I start on NWN2 modding. At the very least, I will update it to the most recent versions of the involved programs. Keep in mind that I started modding BP in 2002; I have a large fanbase that is patiently/impatiently awaiting my final results. BP has evolved a lot during this time, but it's time I just sealed the deal at last--leaving behind nothing less than the best work I can do under the Infinity Engine format.

P.S: Are other things working properly? Keeping track of your hit points/death staus/location/XP penalty debt after relogging, for example?
