Just finished IWD+HOW+TORM+AB in Heart of Fury mode.

Quite frustarting, amazing how many times I have to rest that the clock must have reset twice or whats not.

I solo a fighter/mage Elf.

The only cheat I exploit is

- AB level 40
- give my fighter 5 points in bow

The amount of experience in HoF is amazing ridiulous that by the time I finish the end of the game, both my class is already way beyond level 40. If there is a level 50 rule out there, I gladly install it.

The only battle that frustrates me endlessly is the final battle for TORM. One of the spectral is amazing irritating that it keeps dispelling my haste and protection.

Next I think I try a fighter/mage/cleric.

Bloodlines.

Knights of the Old Republic.

And what about Fallout?

BG and PS:T were the greatest ever, and still are, but that doesn't mean there aren't any good ones after them.

IMO, both of these games far surpass ToB, and almost reaches BG/BG2.

Of course, no one has yet reached anyhting like PS:T. But, who knows, maybe some day.

I agree with everything but PST. Hated it.

Fallouts and BGs are classics.

Bloodlines came so close to being a classic but alas, bugs that were never fixed before Troika bit the dust.

Then you do not agree with me ;)

I think Planescape: Torment is the greatest game that has ever been created. Not only does it surpass Baldur's Gate, it stands as a unikum, which no game has yet to reach. An I ain't your typical fanboy, I played PS:T in 2004, having played the BG's since '98.

The game has everything that Baldur's Gate has, surpasses it in most areas (voiceacting, roleplaying opportunity, NPCs) and has something Baldur's Gate, well any game really, lacks: A true epic story that makes you wonder.

Suffice to say, PS:T is my game :)

About Bloodlines: I don't think the bugs were the reason it didn't become a classic. I think you'd have to be a Vampire: The Masquerade gamer beforehand to know how good a game it was. I'm not saying that to somehow say I'm better than everyone else - 'cause I ain't - I'm saying that Troika and White Wolf produced a game that demanded too much information beforehand from the player.

For me, Bloodlines is a classic, right up there, below Baldur's Gate.

How many times did you have to hit reload because you died? :P

I wouldn't have the patience, dying, reload, dying, reload, etc.
