Hello,

Has anyone ever encountered a situation where none of the keys in BG2 will work?

I recently installed BP + NEJ2, plus lots of smaller mods, then ran into this problem where the Portal Key would not work in Irenicus' dungeon. Reinstalled the game with fewer small mods added, but still had the same problem, plus the Baradush key in ToB would not work either. Also, the elemental air statue would no longer work in Irenicus' dungeon.

I thought of simply doing a CLUA to the second dungeon level, except don't want to start a game that will keep hitting unlockable/unpassable barriers.

Any ideas, tips, suggestions?

If you have Nej installed, you can't get to the second level of the dungeon until you complete Nej part 1.

Explore the first level, then go through the portal behind Jaheiras cell rather than the usual portal.

After completing Nej part 1 you'll end up on the second level.
