LOL! Always great to hear from another Edwin lover! Interestingly enough I have played a paladin myself, with 20 rep and Eddie in the party, and though he grouched more than once he never left me.I adore Edwin as NPC, the bad thing is i play as paladin, having a 20 point reputation.

I'm not sure it takes even that much, it seems to work with Char 19 or so...possibly even lower. However, if you reform the party and remove the character in question (though of course I wouldn't remove Edwinif ya gotsa charisma of 21, no matter how naughty or nice you are they wont leave...using items you can get 21 charisma...

Yes, we've set it up so that if Eddie is in love with you he won't run out on you due to any reputation or charisma issue. The only way to make him do that will be to break his heart and be really cruel to him.One thing that struck me- as the Edwin romance isn't limited by charisma, it's possible that the main character might have one below nine. If he does end up falling in love with the PC, could you do something to stop him from leaving the party running if you choose to battle Fikraag or however his name is spelled? It's not exactly a nice thing for him to do, you know.

*blinks* I had no idea this was even possible. Edwin is supposed to leave the party if you have Char below 9 and go to fight Firkraag? One thing that struck me- as the Edwin romance isn't limited by charisma, it's possible that the main character might have one below nine. Perhaps Edwin was too far away. Dragons have this tendency to sometimes start dialogue with much of the party still being too far away to participate. Alternatively, perhaps you had high enough charisma, Edwin only leaves if charisma is 8 or lower. What's that ?
I had Edwin in my party twice and he never lived, although I had always chosen to battle Firkraag...
