I've just gone through the new BP v1.75 readme, but failed to get one thing straight:

Does this new weidu version of BP also apply the same experience tweak as the old ones? (i.e. 1/3-1/4 exp for kills and others)......and if it does, then I assume the exp for mage scribing scrolls and theif opening locks/disarming traps will also be reduced as before? Because as I remember, recent BGT weidu installs seem to also include such a scroll/lock/trap exp tweak (haven't checked v1.00, though)......funny though, as I am definitely NOT going to provoke you and Ascension into fighting each other......yes, I mean, NOT......err......NOT.......err......OK, I'll omit that NOT thing for now ......

BPv175 does include the XP reductions for monsters (altho later versions probably won't). the XP reductions were removed from BGT 1.00. old BP never reduced spell scribing ot trap removal tweaks, and these have also been removed from BGT 1.00. the advice now is to use Sim's DEFJAM Xp reducer, which allows you the player to set how much you want yr monster/ spell/ trap/ quest XP reduced by.

Err....I saw BP v176 release pinned today, so is this version the 'later' one that does not include exp reduction? And also I am trying to locate the Sim's DEFJAM Xp reducer, but can't find it--is this a Work In Progress or something hosted elsewhere?

Err......nothing wrong there with the pocketplane page itself......it's just I'm getting a little bit too used to the iegmc server that I'm assuming every BG mod would have a mirror there......

IEGMC doesn't come close to mirroring all the mods available. You're much better off checking http://modlist.pocketplane.net/ if you're looking for something.
