Try this patch out with a clean BPv175. This is not cumulative; you'll need BPv175+patch+patch2.

The code in this patch is an exact duplicate of the code in TDD, modified for BPv175. Drop it on your game folder, like the last patch. Also, delete any BPv175.title.tra (not title.tr!) before trying to install. Double-check that your backup folder is clean (just the keep.me file).

KD changed the code between the version he gave me, and the version he released with TDD,SoS,TS-BP, and CtB. Figures....:rolleyes:

Hopefully this will work out. I just want somebody to test it for me, cause my PC is already getting filled up. Can't fit another install folder.

P.S: Yes, the new version is coming soon; by week's end. If this code isn't working by then, I'll yank it and you'll never see BP on the list of mods. End of story...

lol :lol: same situation here ... i have a backup for original, 3 different back up ready to install mods :doh:

somehow it seems some weird issue is going on with the version most of us got here i downloaded mine from the iegmc canada mirror.

I know that BGT itself installed this correctly. I'm going to guess that either 1) you didn't apply thepatch, or did so incorrectly (all you had to do was choose your game folder when prompted)--or 2) you didn't clean out your BPv175 folder after the bad install you had. Bad installs leave files in your backup folder, always a problem--and other stray cats like this title.tra depending on the mod install.

Uninstall BPv175. Delete the BPv175 folder, and reinstall from the .rar file you downloaded. Apply the patch as directed. Try again, and see what you get.


I had reinstalled everything from a fresh install so no leftovers possible, and i applied the patch prior to installing bp at all so i think the problem is the above mentioned.
btw. can you change the setup for your gui so it doesn't install automaticly?

I noticed your list wasn't numbered "4-14"

it is numbered, although i didn't refer to "that" kind of comments :D

I don't think it's a problem as soon as you select "n", nothing will be installed ;)

I was refering to the fact that it seems to force install itself and thus making everything installed after the last time you ran setup-gui reinstall.

1. NEJ patch do not install properly, unless continous Imoen + kit selected - internal label [248] not found in processed DLG [IMOEN2J] - and patch crashed


yep, i've had this to: not sure why, but that doesn't really matter. to fix it, open the file Fixes.d in yr NEJ2v602 folder, and either remove the block of code referring to IMOEN2J, or change the internal label [248] to [177]. both work; asuming i've got the right dialogue state, then changing it to 177 will let you see the correct interjection; removing the block will just cause the interjection not to happen.

Just wanted to say that i looked at the setup.tra from patch2 and this should work. btw. i don't understand jack about weidu coding so don't take my affirmations seriously :P

Just wanted to quickly report that I was also suffering the same weird numbers on the startup screen. I wasn't scared of them at first and began a new game anyway - all went fine then untill a direwolf attacked me as soon as I was out of Candlekeep (you think that would be bad enough :D), except every time the direwolf made an attack it would give a line of dialogue relating to another NPC (Branwen).. hence I came running here for help.

So, glad to see I'm not alone. I uninstalled BP-WeiDU175 and reinstalled with patch1 & new patch2 - and the numbers were gone!

I still have to re-install Tutu-Tweaks and Worldmap to get back to the original install.. But for now the patch seems to get rid of the numbers. Do you think it was also the source of the weird Direwolf text?

just reinstalled bp v175 with both patches apllied and strange numbers are gone O_o;

Good, I'm glad this is beaten. Now I can get back to scripting!

This is very strange. You realize I downloaded a package from American IEGMC last night, and the Setup.tra was just the way I expected it to be? Talk about a loss of currency in international exchange....:lol:

The call for Setup-GUI.exe was removed. It should have been included in this second patch. Was it not? After this last freakout, I wouldn't be surprised... :rolleyes:

Installing - BD + Nej+Nejpatch(fixed "without Imoen kit" bug by changing internal label [248] to [177]) + CtB + BGT -

As horred stated bp should be playable but a bug here or there could arrise since it's still a beta.
Besides that even the other components of your installation or any other install for that matter, can cause bugs even if they aren't beta anymore, such huge combinations will always cause some bugs since everyone installs some little mods. And as posted when mod A is compatible with mod B, and Mod A i compatible with Mod C, that doesn't meant that A+B+C will work together without bugs.

Doesnt this need to be said to Vlad ? Sound like a bug so the best should be its corrected in the next version ?

Vlad doesn't support any modification/compatibility of this project. So you get help only if you install NEJ2 and/or TS alone with BG2.

Seems even with a fresh patched install of BD-WeiDU+SOS+CtB+TDD+TS+BP (in that order) I still get problems with weird little bugs, similar to the Direwolf problem. For example, I try right-clicking Hull (the guard standing before the gate at Candlekeep - this is convenient because it's so near the beginning of the game) and get weird text from elsewhere. No "little" mods have been installed, only those mentioned above. The problem was not there before BP was installed. Hope this helps.

Exactly the same thing here (and worst of all, Hull stopped *yawning* ^_^ )!

Same for Phlydia and some others in Candlekeep. At first I thought it was a BG1NPC issue, but since Xerxandi said 'no "little" mods' installed for him...

BTW I have started yesterday a new game, and will report if other things like that (or others) are showing. For now, at least: nothing quest-breaking. Hope this helps too.
