Checked if it was working and backuped my folder.Then everything worked properly. Then i went to installing mods that should go after the big mods and i was unsure about some of them working well. I was right to backup because something went wrong(althought i don`t know which of the mods did not work properly). The mods i installed after in no particular order(i would check in weidu.log but when installing G3Tweaks something went wrong and my weidu.log contains only mods that i installed after G3 Tweaks - basicaly "The Big`s Tweaks" and "Worldmap"):

Those with numbers i rememberd the order. And now to the main point. One of those mods did something to the weapon skills(grandmastery etc).
I`ll attach a screenshot for you to see. And also something is wrong with the selection screen the second attachment will be about it. Also when i add a poin to any of those it is added everywhere and when you click on any of them it says that it is proficiency with short swords.
If you have any ideas which mog did it i would appreciate it greatly.

I just finished installing the mega mod aka as bgt+bp and some more,
and i also got the funky numbers at the start screen, bellow is my installation (wrote it down while installing and) also my weidu log. i'm also looking at any comments about my install, regarding compatibility and about my installation order. Btw. i didn't install some mods that i'd like because they seem to buggy still, like ajoc's mod, the munch mod, planer sphere, extended thief stronghold. And don't be scared :devil:

01. BG2 + Tob + Official Patch [Guess it's obivous] :whistling:

02. BD-Weidu [not that sure, if it goes here since the readme (anyone ever read that?) says it should go after BP-BGT-Weidu]

04. TDD-Character kits [again not sure. I always skipped it, but i might actually install them at some other time. My doubt is, wether if not installing them i still can give them to my character by using nearinfinity (assuming they'll be inside the game, but not selectable at startup.), or wether they are completely gone. Actually can someone make all kits optional one by one so we can choose which we will install and which not?]

This "uninstalled everything when I used BP" worries me. There is no part of it that makes it do this. Sounds more like a weidu glitch of some sort (freak accident category). I believe this occurence could be the source of errors, but I don't really see BP as the cause.

Another question: did either/both of you change the lines for the "need BGT" code I posted (this code has to do with those numbers)? And/or install the "weird issues" patch (this had the code already intact)?

P.S: You've got me stumped on th Elminster text. That definitely is BGT-related (BGT itself, or a mod for it).

Yes i`ve instaled BP with the Patch you`ve posted
As far as i remember desacration of souls was revised by SBB so i wouldn`t worry about installing it

Well it should be related to BGT... even if i have few time, i tried just to install BGT + BP only and i got same numbers on first screen :crying: BUT ONLY the number the first logo, the game then is correct, i mean character creation, etc ... :P

I also found that the chars created before this error lost all proficiencies that they had.
Or they are just not visible.

Some crazy multi-mod-related WeiDU bug must have prevented evaluation of .tra @ strings, giving you all those numbers in the main menu. With the 'You played Elminster?' thing (BG1 StrRef 1), I think WeiDU completely broke down when trying to read .tra strings from memory.

Very weird.

Hm maybe this will be helpfoul:
When i was trying to install G3 Tweaks the installation crashed 2 times(first when i chosed to install(looking at readme...) Sellable Stafs, Clubs and Slings and second when i choosed NOT to install Give Viconia her BG Stats) when i choosed to not install Stafs and Install Viconia everything worked fine. Might it be a reason for this strange ocurences?

i didn't remove those lines since i thought it wasn't important when installing bp after bgt since bgt would be present also, i didn't use the revised version of bp because it wasn't out at the time. as i heard a new version of weidu/biggdu? is out which supposedly should solve the problem with v190? should i just update all weidu versions to v191 and reinstall everything again, together with the new bp or can i skip the new bp?
edit: the last time i used dos thogether with some other mods i had some weird bugs, which renamed the description of some spell to dialog lines so until some of these older mods have been fully weiduzed, i'll skip them. Either that or if someone can confirm they won't cause problems with the above mods.

Only issue right now is that some of the spells are the same as in DSotSC. However, they do not use the same filenames. So it is possible to memorize Arc of Death twice over. I hope to resolve this with an update to DSotSC at some point in the future. But for now, you can always remove the spell from your spellbook so it isn't a show stopper of a problem.

It was released on January (i don`t know when you played it last time but i hope it was before the release :) )

Unfortunatly bad news: After restoring my clean backup of bg2, i tried to install TDD 1.10 using the new weidu v191 and already got an error.
Failed installation because not beeing able to patch tooltip.2da invalid argument COPY(_). Stupid as i am i forgot to save the debug and went to reinstalling tdd with weidu v190.

Unfortunate, indeed. Both for BP and for Weiduv191. And TheBigg needs this sort of information, if in fact it was a weidu-caused error.

I already reported this bug in the weidu forum, now at least i know something about the uninstalling part of bp that happened to me:

it seems this is done bz the new gui included in bp, since bp force installs it's gui and i had run the gui setup before it reinstalled everything i had installed after running the gui setup.

This is very interesting, because I actually recognize the number combo. It was in existence up through BPv174 "last workshop" beta. The numbering system was abandoned when I traify'ed everything for BPv175.

Do you have a BPv175/title.tra laying around in your game folder. Check the "last modified" time on it, compared to the last time you installed BP. Open it with notepad, etc--and read what it says.

First of all, does this match the code in your Setup-BPv175.tp2 file? It's up near the top, it won't take long to find. Starts at line 348 in mine.

You see no 6-digit numbers here, for text. You see @4 to @14 (@13 was taken out, don't worry about it). This is the corresponding text from BPv175/LANGUAGE/Setup.tra:

Recognize those numbers? I noticed your list wasn't numbered "4-14" :D

I know that BGT itself installed this correctly. I'm going to guess that either 1) you didn't apply thepatch, or did so incorrectly (all you had to do was choose your game folder when prompted)--or 2) you didn't clean out your BPv175 folder after the bad install you had. Bad installs leave files in your backup folder, always a problem--and other stray cats like this title.tra depending on the mod install.

Uninstall BPv175. Delete the BPv175 folder, and reinstall from the .rar file you downloaded. Apply the patch as directed. Try again, and see what you get.

Reporting Unsucsessful Garbage heap install - NEJ+BGT+SoS+TDD+CtB+TS+BP+small mods
1. NEJ patch do not install properly, unless continous Imoen + kit selected  - internal label [248] not found in processed DLG [IMOEN2J] - and patch crashed
2. Get multiple programm crashes at the end of my  installation starting from Divine remix - it realy look like "to many mods installed" problem for present WeiDu
3.got that numbers under BG to :)

I had the same bug but i did a clean reinstall of the complete package BGT, etc. and BP1.75 with patch and its still there.
