Hi Tom,

We have just been informed by Take 2 New Zealand late this afternoon that due to
a shipping delay from Australia, Oblivion for the PC has been delayed by one day
until Friday, March 24th in New Zealand.

All pre-orders will now be shipped out on Thursday for delivery on Friday - the
new release date. The game will go on sale in-store from 9am Friday morning.

We apologise for this slight delay but hope you can understand this is
completely out of our control We are eagerly awaiting Oblivion ourselves - we
can't wait to play it!

True, one day ain't that bad. In my case I'd be happy if it would be late for one day, it would save my French final exams. But I'm thinking that I won't even buy it before they're over..

I knoooow! So one day's delay wouldn't do any good for my French exams as they're on the 29th. So I'll prolly spend April enjoying the views of Oblivion, not outside enjoying nice spring weather.

Ooooh you little..! I'm jealous, I really am. And that really does sound like a plan, altough I would atleast TRY to make an effort for Maths.. But for Swedish? Nah. Luckily my Swedish studies are over - hopefully for good. (Just don't tell that to SConrad. )

Yeah. I went to a game store today to kill some time, and I was talking with my friend about Oblivion and how it's coming out this Friday and all that, and the salesperson just HAD TO grin reaaally widely at me and say cheerfully: "I'm getting the game today for testing! Hahahaa!"

Yea, it's very cool. How's the thing running on your comp btw? I'm on high settings. Still micromanaging my character's looks.

I usually am happy when something like this happens - most of the time, they give me some sort of discount for the trouble.

It runs very well actually, probably better than morrowind did. Its still choppy of course, but definately playable.

Yeah, it's a wonder how the performance has been tweaked in comparison to Morrowind. I'm glad they managed to work that issue out.

There are mods to e.g. remove the fast travel feature and the compass stuff... and of course I would recommend NoLoad as well.
