I've not been approached by Aril. I killed his cronies before doing the Asylum. So far I'm at LT46 but still no Aril. Until I fight his butt I can't proceed with my romance and I don't want to start TOB until it hits committed...HELP!

Are you through the Underdark yet? He won't come until the start of chapter six, where you meet up with the elves.

Seems like the common solution suggested on these boards is:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("TAARILIS")
I think that's it. If not, check ShadowKeeper, or the .cre files that came with the game (?).
