I've got a UI mod I've done a small part of, and it would be nice if I could get some feedback on it - specifically, does anybody think it would be possible (or not) to do the rest of the interface in this style? I've only really got the left-hand button bar so far, but that should be enough to get an idea.
So, any comments?

Otherwise it looks quite nice, at least something new, but the clock will always jump out due to the new style I think.

Looks cool, but could you remove/change the clock? Ex: Make it show symbols for the sun/moon's location, etc...

I can't decide what I want to do with the clock - so far I have a temporary animation:infinitya.gif
I'm having a bit of a problem here though - the overlay of the pendulum seems to be hardcoded. I can't find the BAM for it and it moves with the gears BAM, even when the latter is replaced with something else. It must be possible to remove it though, as TutuGUI manages it somehow. If somebody could enlighten me here, it would be greatly appreciated (especially as that's the animation which overlays the sun/moon images on to the gears).

That would be perfect!
Could you, say, make it change brightness or display a moon/sun accordingly?

Until I figure out how the overlay part of the clock animation works, I really have no idea.

Edit: Aha! Found it at last: CDIAL.BAM. :D
Edit2: *sigh*. There's one more overlayed on top of that that I still can't find :(
Third and hopefilly final edit: CPEN.BAM wasn't that hard to find after all.

Actually I'm beginning to think that doing everything in this style will look boring - too drab. I don't want to waste what I've done so far though; I just can't think of any other style that would go with it. Although I suppose BG1's interface didn't really look like everything was carved out of stone, so maybe I could be a little more liberal. Opinions?

Love it so far!

I'd go with sandstone. You are going for the who Egyptian motif (at least that is what it looks like to me), and I think that would compliment it nicely.

I don't know, I like this style, it reminds me of PNP. :)
